Hey guys,

I am about to be getting another .17HMR and was wondering if the 16" 452 Varmint barrel will give me any less performance that the 20" as I have heard you loose a little bit of velocity.

I will be shooting them out to 150yds...200yds at a touch :good:

So I was wondering what I loose with 16"?

I cant get no closer there...they sit in a little dip against another permission, so I have to shoot from high up a bank, the shot works out to be about 150yds...I cant get any closer without them being spooked...I wouldnt really call 150yds long range either, most foxes are shot around this range.
