But after many years of fighting the 'The Virginia department of Inland Fishery and Game' my Sam Yang big bore has been made 'Legal' in the taking of big game Must be .45 or larger and 250+ pounds of energy.. Mine is hitting around 300 foot pounds at approx. 900 fps. with a 255 grain maxi hunter.. She was super tuned and i get 6-8 shots per fill.. All shots were in the brain pan. I have broken bits off a 12" concrete block at 125 yards.. I would keep the range around 80.. Mine is scoped with a 2.5 X 7 X 40.
