Invaluable piece of equipment for shotguns

i never thought of posting this before, so here we go. i had to get the top rib of my mossberg welded back on recently (bear with me), so took it out for a few shots on saturday to make sure it was ok. i put two boxes of cartridges through it, the first few shots were spot on target (quick crossers) but after that i missed a few absolute sitters. i figured the gun was shooting a bit low but wasnt 100% sure, so last night i popped the laser shell into the benelli (which fits me perfectly) and sighted on a wall 20ft away, the red dot was right behind the bead. then i did the same with the mossberg and was shocked how low the red dot was in comparison. i spent 20 mins heightening the stock (using a rubber stock heightener and lots of insulating tape...) and now the red dot is right behind the bead of the mossberg; ill be taking it out this saturday to check for certain but im preffty confident its sorted

heres a link to the laser shells, bought mine a year or two ago but it only cost about £5 then, so this ones a bit of a rip off, but theyre well worth it; you dont need to worry about gun fit when buying a new gun so much, just pop one of these in the breach and you get a fair idea, plus it saves wasting cartridges. :ninja:

sorry if this has been covered before, but i didnt see it so thought it might be useful

Seems a good piece of kit, know where you can get one any cheaper?

Also, do you achieve the same thing by mounting the gun pointing towards a mirror?

WGD

not really, you just succeed in temporarily blinding yourself :ninja:

just keep searching ebay, esp the international sellers
