Hunter
Some of you may remember my photos on the shooting range project a while ago? its a 70m range that im building in a forest. I have since built a concrete shooting platform that will later get a roof, and possibly more willow planted around it as sound damping. I made all this on saturday, was abosolute hell to push 8 bags of concrete almost half a mile over a hill and woods. Heres the work still with the frame in place, will break it off when its set. Just a little more digging required at the target area and its good to go. The digging has taken weeks, as im doing it alone, with a spade

Hunter
are the wooden poles there to mount a roof? Its looking good Hunter Thanks for your replies chaps Yep the wooden poles are also placed in concrete. Should be firm enough for the roof to be built, after I trim them level. Hunter
Thats the river at full depth was the night after a heavy rain. The river runs right through our forest and the farm next door. When im lucky enough to get the permission, I can hunt next to it Otherwise its walking with the Binos scouting. Hunter
That woodland is our property Not much about there usually other then the odd squirrel now. Wiped them out last year :yp: Most famrs will have some woodland, so chances are you will gain that as permission if you ask. Thanks for the replies
