turbo33
Can't compete with Sussex Lad's outing but heres a few I bagged this evening sitting under a beech tree defending a friends vegetable patch! Using the tree as a back drop was perfect. No full on camo gear, I just sat quietly watching the bank 35 yards away from my sniping position. The .177 hw100 proving as deadly as ever. Beautiful evening and 1 1/2 hours of productive hunting and back in time for the BBQ. Happy times.

turbo33
Thanks Blackthorn. Yup your right about the enjoyment. I used to do much the same as Sussex Lad with a friend lamping with a .22 rimmy, but there is something immensely satisfying about using the air rifle!! sussex lad
Its not a competition m8, i would have been just as happy to get 1/2 a dozen that night. Might not have written it up and posted a piccy though Some of my most memerable nights out have been with very small bags, but the shots have been challenging and the company great. And its a damm sight harder to do it with a air rifle than a .22 rimfire... Thats for sure Congrats on a good bag.

ozzy518
Mate, I would agree that its much harder to shoot rabbits with an air rifle that a powder burner because of the range that you have to taken em at. Having used both myself, I know that you need to put a lot more work into fieldcraft and shot placement with an air rifle to achieve results, something that you clearly have done well. As long as you have enjoyed what you have been doing thats the payback, not the size of the bag.....
