  1. where do you start with catching these? are they in any river? I know the trap dimensions have to specific, but where do you start? bigt
  2. Mods, May respond to this pleeeeaaassseeeeeeee??? Not wanting to bicker, just point out some facts.
  3. No he isn't, i can't speak for Fuddster, but I think he has merely pointed out a fact that the police haters only pop up on the negative police threads and are like dogs with bones, which i agree with. look back, it's the same old faces saying the same old non informed rubbish (which normally gives me a real giggle, and brightens up my day) as it is apparent they have no idea what they are talking about. The police have a brief, they stick to it. It is posted on social media and no doubt at the venues, not to enter the 'bubble.' If you have a complaint about the way the police handled that 'incident' then there is a procedure for that. I'm not not going to argue with you as you have your opinion and i have mine, and they are never going to be the same, not even close. the type in bold seems to be your general attitude toward the police though ATB
  4. Fuddster..... well said and thank you. I was going to keep my comments to myself, as the police haters only show up on threads like these. Kdubya... the evidence is plain to see and Fuddster is not out of order.
  5. Will be on the Jura in about 5 mins, not to much for me though as I start taking my new Morphine tablets tonight
  6. MMMMMMM, Kate Humble No introductions.....
  7. Christ on a bike is this still going on........ These kinda threads normally make me giggle, but bored now I'll get me coat
  8. So the chipper could have gone up to 48 hours before you got there? I think next Wednesday is a bit long to wait for attendance, if attendance is required at all, but why are the police useless. What would be gained by coming, say, today for instance? Is there evidence that you feel would be lost by non attendance and didn't put in the OP? Here the details of the item would be taken over the phone so that a crime is put on the system straight away and allocated to an officer (normally within 24hrs) to investigate, and or put out a press release to the local papers etc so folks can be made aware that the item has been stolen. As said previously..... it would be nice to be able to leave equipment in situ, but these people are professionals at what they do, bcse they are at it all the time bigt
  9. Ah... Roger dodge.. I have heard of it, just didn't register.... I hate earlies
  10. With you to a point Mungler..... Trident and the like come under MODPLOD probably... These are funded by central government (which is why they have very nice kit,) so not the same thing. You're right we're not like the states (thank god) and I hope we don't. I consider myself to be an 'average bobby' and in all the jobs I have attended, I have never felt the need for a firearm, taser yes, firearm no. I think taser, would be a preferred option, I have seen the hardest machete wielding man become most complient when red dotted with a taser. A lot less paperwork than a firearm as well
  11. What ever are you talking about? :look:
  12. Very interesting, thanks. I think 'sitting' the target on the top of the barrel will do me fine. The plate is about 20 inches across, and i have 1/4 and 1/2 chokes by the way. Cheers ATB bigt
  13. Thanks guys, Shooting a silver pigeon 3 sporter. Although not very scientific, i found it quite interesting. I shot at the board pre-mounted, so that cant be a problem. I didn't know sporters did the 60/40 thing... Once again, thanks
