  1. My friend I have been shooting for over 40 years, and owned many guns and in that time I have only bought one can of gun oil, I have used 3 in one oil, wd40, engine oil, gear box oil infact any oil that comes to hand, personally after a days shooting I clean my gun and then keep it in a dry warm environment and have never had any problem what so ever.
  2. I have but they either want to much or there to far away.
  3. I am looking for a 3.5 v8 EFI engine anything considered from something that may have been sat in a shed for years to having to pull it out of an old shell; the engine will be stripped and rebuilt anyway
  4. My reason for selling is simple really I have to many guns, I really like this gun and know I wil regret selling it but something has got to go.
  5. Ulrika 2 synthetic I bought this gun on 29 December last so only couple of months old, I have used it on about ten outings and put through about 300 cartridges. It will come in it’s original hard case and all that was with it, 5 Chokes, all the spacers and spanners, swivel, manual and all other paper work that came in the box, this gun can be left or right handed using the spacers to change drop and cast of the stock, the gun also has the new recoil mechanism installed as standard which really eliminates kick, The gun has a cut off device which is on the left side of the action, when engaged only one shot will fire, the safety button can be easily changed for left or right hand, trigger plate is wide enough for gloves to be warn,. Gas operation system with exhaust valve the unique gas operation system. With gas cylinder and self cleaning piston, is provided with a self-cleaning exhaust valve which automatically expels the excess gas of the most powerful cartridges: the result is that the shotgun , without any adjustment, fires everything from light 24g (7/8oz) loads to the powerful 57gr (2oz) 3†magnum 12 g shells. The exhaust valve assembly remains attached to the gas cylinder, thus allowing easy and quick disassembly and Reassembly of the gun. Price is £900 ovno, I prefer f2f sale Well guys yiou missed a nice gun SOLD SOLD
  6. [Here I have a clay trap which I made up a frame for some years ago from scaffold and odd metal parts, it’s a good sold job and the trap it’s self is of a very good construction, the seat was made of wood and covered with sponge but this has now gone missing, however that to was home made so easy to make a replacement, the trap can be removed from the frame, but the frame is welded so collection would be necessary. This trap has given us many hours of fun over the years but in resent years has been sitting in my shed. £100 make me an offer I HAVE THIS FOR SALE ELSEWHERE TOO NOW SOLD
  7. I saw one of these calling crows at a country show last summer, and I have to say I wasn’t impressed, to me it seemed more of a toy than a serious field gadget, the sound from it wasn’t that cleaver.
  8. I have two Air Pro decoys for sale, they are as new. £40 knicker and in the post to you SOLD Chaps pending the usual
  9. That's the man the one with teeth missing
  10. Thanks for your reply EDR; I too have been trawling the internet and local gun shops, the shell deflector it appears is only available in the USA. I would have thought that one gun importer would have jumped on this one by now; I like to shoot with my Urika2 synthetic but get totally fed up having to hunt down all my spent cartridges, which always seem to find there way into the thickest bramble bush known to man. I had owned a Browning Gold auto years ago but sold it for an o/u, I had forgotten why I sold it.
  11. Thamks for the answers chap, My gun is Urika 2
  12. Hi chaps my question is shell deflector I have heard somewhere that this gismo when attached to a semi auto shotgun, deflects the spent cartridges down as opposed to flinging them up the field in the brambles and into mates ears, Have any of you chaps seen or tried one of these shell deflectors or can anyone tell me anymore about them.
  13. I have seen these on flybay, Quite honestly I’d save your money, there’s no way I would pay what they are asking
  14. I have a set of pigeon wings I dried 8 years ago, I had a plastic flying pigeon decoy I had bought some years ago, it was so naff I used it once; anyway I reduced the existing plastic wings in size and mounted the real pigeon wings onto the plastic ones, that way I was able to use the fixing that was already there to attach the wings to the body , job done No feathers have been lost so far
  15. Cut the pigeon wings off, find your self a peace of board, put a nail through the base of your wing into the wood, put another nail about half way up the front of the wing, but not through the wing this nail helps to keep the wing in the right position, then open the wing into flying position and place another nail through the feathers to hold it open, now just leave the wing somewhere safe to dry out, once dry it will stay in open position. I have pigeon wings I dried years ago and there still fine
  16. 686 Bought this gun new in November 2008 by the end of December 2008 I had enough of it and sold it back to the shop and lost £200 in the deal but was glad to see the back of it.
  17. I have a magnet and mount two air pro decoys on it, I have also used dead pigeons, conclusion I have found it to be a total waste of time effort and money here in West Sussex.
  18. Thanks for the reply Sid, think what I'll do is take a pick of the parts and upload so you can see what I mean. Paul
  19. I do understand that there will be wear on any auto, my first auto was a berretta and I’m sure it didn’t have this amount of wear after so few shots, I followed that with a Browning gold now the Ulrika I also have a Hatsan in my collection,
  20. Thanks for the info Harnser. In answer to the other question yes I do oil and use gun grease on moving parts. Oh and thanks for the link
  21. Beretta AL 391 Ulrika 2 I bought this gun new about 3 weeks ago, to date I have put no more than a hundred cartridges through it, I use eley HB Pigeon 6 shot, the look of this gun is good with it’s matt finish, it handles nice in the field and having a selection of spacers and drop spacers enables you to custom fit the gun to your own preferences, the gun also has the new recoil system which is also impressive, the only thing I am not happy about is the amount of ware on the working parts, the breech bolt and slide are showing in my view excessive wear already, having owned other semi autos I would not expect to see this amount of wear so soon, I will be contacting amk to discuss this, my only other bug bare is the reassembly of the breech bolt to the receiver , great care has to be used in order to locate the bolt in the correct sleeve as it is all to easy to drop the bolt into the wrong port, and not so easy to retrieve. So a nice auto in general but have inferior metals been used
