  9. I got better things to do and spend my money on
  10. Gun is in process of being sold subject to licence and payment.

  12. I bought a Hayhouse hide about two years ago and I have to say it’s brilliant, one of the best investments I’ve made in shooting for many years, it can be put up in minutes where ever you want it, you have all your kit in side with you, it’s dry and wind proof, you no longer need to hunt for dead cartridges at the end of the day, and it’s big enough for two people and all there kit, at the end of the day it takes minutes to take down and put in its bag which you carry on your back , it’s light and easy to carry.
  13. Hello John, we spoke month ago about Lee load all 20 gauge, I told you I had an offer from another chap, at that time had to put on hold due to a family member being diagnosed terminal, anyway chap agreed to keep, contacted him a few days ago but no reply I see from his profile he’s been on line so obviously he’s not interested. So John I’m back in the market for a press what...

  14. I’m looking to buy a 20 bore cartridge loading machine, Lee Load all or alike
  15. I wouldn’t bother with UV paint, this rubbish was put out some years ago and it makes absolutely no difference on decoys at all.
  16. Where did he get his figures from, he must have come across a 1950s population report, while warming his **** on his office seat.
  17. PIGEON SHOOTING DVD DECOY DECOYING TACTICS MAGNET CAMO I came across this on the eBay, sounded interesting and informative so I bought. The DVD claims it’s (Crammed full of fantastic pigeon shooting tips) in my opinion that claim is total rubbish, there is about 5 so called tips on the whole DVD. Most of The DVD is taken up by a chap shooting pigeons with a 20 Gauge who in my opinion needs a little more practice. Conclusion this is a poorly made home movie on shooting
  18. Well I have been shooting 12 gauge guns 40 + years, I always had a hankering to try a 20 bore but never met anyone that had one, Anyway just about a year ago I saw a picture of the Yildiz 20 bore in a mag and decided next time at my local gun shop id have a look, I picked the gun up and instantly new it was right, I bought it then and there, I had the usual reservations on my first trip out with the new gun, but after my first shot and kill I knew this was a match. The gun is beautifully made and well balanced and for the money a bargain. I have used the Yildiz as my first gun since buying it, the gun is just a treat to use, friends continue to be amazed with the distance and accuracy I have achieved with this gun. As to the build you have no worries, mine has been used once and twice a week every week for a year and is still tight.
  19. Where I shoot pigeon have been on the decline for a few years now, there not in the next door farms, half of them are not sitting on nests, they simply are not here. Since rape began to be the predominant crop where I shoot which was about 17-20 years ago, I noticed every year less and less pigeons , this year our rape has barely been touched, beans drilled we always expect to have to shoot over them, but no not a pigeon to be worried about. I’ve heard all the excuses, Oh there feeding in the woods, NO there not, oh it’s the time of the year it’s always quite at this time. No it’s not. Apart from the odd few pigeons numbers are grossly down where I shoot
  20. Sounds like you have the same ground as me, thousands or acres and very few pigeons, and has been getting worse as the year progressed. When I do get a shot I can’t see weather I’ve hit it, threw the cloud of rust coming from the end of my barrel. Found myself doing all those little jobs I’ve put off until tomorrow, Disco is in top condition mechanically and bodily, garden up together. I’ll have to knock the dust off my fishing rod I think before I lose it completely
