  1. Cat's having the evening off, so I'm just filling in for him.
  2. Aye , Bigweed had a storming start as well, showing Cat how it's done. Took a few stands to catch up.
  3. Yup, just don't tell MC. It wouldn't sit well that we shot a far harder stand than he did, and that Cat's margin of victory was actually even bigger then he thinks it is!
  4. Stand 3 was the easy part of the tower. We walked around to the other side of the tower and took the crossers off the very top, and not the easy driven from the middle that the others did. As said, stand 3 only had 1 trap working when we got to it. I can't claim the Queue Anxiety unfortunately, that one I think was Mungler. You seem to care an awful lot what people think of you, don't be afraind to open up a little!
  5. I didn't actually check the cards, I made an assumption. Those were the last two stands I shot where I missed everything on purpose to let Cat win by a suitably large margin, it would have hurt his pride if I'd only been 10 behind. That's a pretty good excuse, you can use that in your next book. BTW, stand 3....we shot stand 15 which was the high tower as stand 3 was ******** when we got to it. You'd not have hit anything off the tower, so it's not really a good comparison. You probably shot all 10 birds from the single trap left working on stand 3, true strawbale behaviour!!
  6. Blimey I'm sorry I didn't take the **** when I kicked your large behind at JJ's last time out. Nothing like good sportsmanship is there!!
  7. You must have shot like a SuperPoof then, as according to the cards I shot better than you all the way around apart from that stand.
  8. Yes, my top class banter obviously helped (it wasn't meant to!) you to your 95. That'll be £5 please. Besides, I think you're recall that my abuse/encouragement was far more diverse than merely commenting on your chippy performance.
  9. Had a good day meeting old friends and putting names to faces. Amazed at the very good turnout. Shot like a poof (well the last two stands anyway, was 86% until then) and thus was so depressed set a new MPG record of 44.2mpg in the car. B)
  10. 91/120 at Southdown registered today. Wanted 100 though Let the most stupid silly birds go....shudda heard the langauge..... Got 3rd in B class as I left. Only 3 over 100, 108 was high gun.
  11. It's only a man hug, I wasn't planning on pushing cartridges up your backside or anything! Besides, like I said repeatedly, I shoot Lead all the time, apart from a few rounds of Skeet a year where Steel I find to be superior (not to mention cheaper). Might have flung a few Steels around at Dartford Sporting stands where I had few loose in my pocket, and they worked ok there as well. But, I'm a Lead shooter.
  12. Aawwwww, you voted for us didn't you Cat? Bless.... I knew you loved us really, I'm gonna give you a big man hug at High Lodge on Monday.
  13. Just 2 mins ago checked my Hotmail account, and yes, account restored.
  14. I have no idea if it has or not. I may try it later, or not.
  15. Ya, that particular issue is an important one to sort out. Still doing that silly "gun up" thing? We'll sort it for you at High Lodge
  16. How'd you get on at Dartford? Has any of the stands changed?
  17. Clayman is a RFD, so I'd accept his word on this, plus Essex Gun outlined the same procedure (though not as elequently) when I enquired about shipping the Browning I was selling two years ago.
  18. A quick search produced this from the ever helpful Clayman.
  19. Ya, it's cheaper with one RFD. Go to the one nearest you, he'll arrange courier from selller and do your paperwork. Either way there'll be a courier involved, this way there'll be only 1 RFD charge.
  20. Only need 1 RFD to do this. He'll use a courier authorised to handle firearms to collect it from the seller.
  21. Thank you for your post WB, I completely agree with what you say, apart from the clique part. Although I'm still doing the registered route in a small fun way, rather than an obsessive way, if you know what I mean. I guess the other site's participants can't see what they/it looks like from our perspective, they being far too far into it thus creating a fairly warped view of what is right and wrong in there. **Edit, missed the Clique part**
