  1. For sale 2 Gun cabinet, 2mm Steel, top and bottom deadlocks, police approved, H 1270 D 155 W 255mm There's a couple of paint marks on the door but otherwise in good condition. I only have one set of keys. Selling up as I'm getting my FAC so have a nice shiny new 7 gun cabinet in its place SOLD I've four fixing bolts I can throw in too. Prob best to pick up due to the weight, but happy to discuss delivery I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne at the moment Cheers Ken
  2. Sounds like it was a professional job so I'm hoping the springs already been altered. The only worry would be whether it will cycle the 2/12 inch cartridges (which I think most subsonic are?) There is the question of why the gun was traded in-sounds like something that would always have a place in the cabinet. Guess I'll have to wait and see what it's like when it arrives! Once it reaches my RFD, I'll cycle a few cartridges and see what happens I'll post a pic if I decide to keep it! Ken
  3. I've just been looking at a second hand silenced benelli motefeltro obviously a custom job-anyone seen one of these? I wondered if they would they cycle the sunbsonic carts (its inertia operated) to get maximum noise reduction sounds like its seen a bit of action, but I'm led to believe the benellis are fairly robust?
  4. Me too. Was a memorable days shooting in the sunshine and got a personal best score to finish the day off nicely. Posted photo over on sporting pictures. Great hospitality from Paul-thanks for letting me come down and join in. Well worth the drive down the M1
  5. Sounded like you got plenty of shooting although I was a bit far away to see exactly what was happening It's nice to put names to faces from the forum-hopefully I'll get chance to head down again sometime-certainly worth the trip. Reckon we got 100 birds between the group....? I was jiggered after chasing that runner though-it had managed to get a good 200yds away and was still going when I shot it again There was certainly no shortage of birds from all directions for the last couple hours-could have probably had two bodies in the hide taking turns/sharing a gun. The birds where appearing from nowhere-and I was between two trees that were still thick with leaves and just didn't see many of them I've even made a nice pigeon and steak casserole with the proceeds......... happy days!
  6. Thanks to Paul, had these 45 woodies on Saturday. After a slow start, 3pm came and all hell broke loose! The resident feral pigeons were making great flying decoys-always nice to pick the woodies sneaking in at the back of the flocks That'll be a best ever score for me Would've been more if I could shoot straighter........ Great hospitality from a thoroughly decent bloke, cheers mate! Ken
  7. I'm in Gosforth From Lancashire, but been here for 13 years and counting
  8. Given the fact the rest of the gun is indestructable, I'm not holding out much hope....... anyone got a spare forend (the model number is ij 27 e) seems like a bit of a joke trying to find spares for a gun worth barely more than £100 but there you go....!
  9. Phil, John posts on here too from what I can remember. It seems the NPPC website isn't working at the moment....I think I spotted the contact details on the forum though I'll prob end up joining, but will have to make an effort to see the fields before shooting Feel free to PM me if any plans are hatched. cheers Ken
  10. cheers guys. I used to be in the NPPC but didn't really have the time to do it justice or reccy the fields. I'm thinking of joining again now I've got my weekends free. If I remember a lot of their shooting was around Hartlepool/Darlington way??
  11. Hi guys. I've dusted off my magnet and decoys but it's been a while! I was wondering who else was up here in the North East? I've seen plenty of pigeons floating about but haven't had chance to get the gear out this year-was wondering what the shootings been like? Cheers Ken
