  1. Me & some mates shoot sporting every Sunday @ Cocketts Farm, when we clear a stand we blow down the barrel........Its just a COOL thing to do :thumbs:

  6. Hi, I live not too far from Clay Cross and i have never heard of a shoot there, the one that i go to is Cocketts Farm @ Farnsfield
  7. Hi i shoot there every Sunday morning, getting there about 10.00 ish. There is a good range of "birds" - High tower, rabbits, loopers, going away birds, incoming birds, Its a good shoot and Jane will fix you up within a group if you wish
  8. Hi Karl, Next shoot at Fox house is sunday 7th June, but it is opens every other sunday, make sure that you have warm clothing as it can get quite cold up there!! Cockets farm is also a good shoot , with a great bunch of folks to make you welcome, its open every day apart from Thursday. Aileen

  10. You could also try Cocketts Farm - theres a great range of shooting - Sporting, Fitasc, White gold, Skeet, High Skeet and DTL, They are open every day except Thursday. Nice and friendly people and also not as far to walk around. 3 of us go alternate between there and Fox house. Cheers Aileen

  12. Make sure that you get some warm clothing on, as you are open to the elements up there It can be rather muddy aswell. I will be up there today at 10.00 ish
  13. Shooting **** ...... "lost the plot", and i have a badge to prove it!!!!! So i thought it would be the ideal name

I wear varifocal glasses all the time, and i wanted another pair for shooting so my optitian recommended that i just have the second pair with yellow lenses in for distance only, and thats what i did. Its amazing how the clays can be so easily picked out with the yellow lenses, i should have had them years ago!!
  15. Hi, Used to go to Copper Beeches for many years, then it closed down unexpectedly, but pleased to hear that it has opened up again, Who runs it now, At this present time i go to Cocketts farm and Fox House with a couple of pals. Aileen
