sweet! wish mine was as clean as that.

Go lightweight! if you want one that goes like a disco then do wot i done and put a disco engine in it (cost £200 took a weekend and got £100 back when i sold the old engine)

ive found getting rid of all the grime, then a coat of wd40 works best, too much oil causes my 302 to jam.

I would not swap mine, I paid £400 for the rifle and the 3-12 x 50 meopta on it then another £150 getting it screw cut + T8 and can honestly say that I can count the number of times Ive missed with it on one hand. Better build quality than the later models ive heard.

Ive got a paladin on my ruger 10/22 and its more than enough for rabbits up to 60 yrds which can easily be seen with the built in illuminator, using a cluson lamp with an ir filter you can easily see 150 yrds but the lack of magnification makes hitting anything tricky.

I use mine when shooting in fields near to houses at night or for round the farmyard, when used with subsonics its really quiet. Ive also used it for roost shooting so as not to spook birds comeing into the woods and have brought down some really high pigeons with it. My mates got one of the mossberg/hushpower pumps which i dont think is as quiet but gets around the single shot problem.

To be honest I was looking for an excuse to try one of them 20g hatsan autos so cheers for the advice.

My better half has decided to give shooting a go so was thinking of either a lightweight 12g and use subsonics or a 20g. Any thoughts appreciated.

I tells ya, don't sell them old Tikka's! hang onto them

Savage every time - no comparison.
Ditto, mine shoots better than my mates anchutz which was 3 times the price.

I shot 4 last night with it. It seems to crop up round here when rabbit numbers are high (which they are this year)
