Get yourself a bottle of skunk scent and pour a little on an old straw bale works fantastic for me, dont spill any on your hands though, you cant wash the smell away you have to wear it away, anyone that has been driving in North America will know how strong it smells you only need to drive over a dead one (skunk) and the whole car is stinking even if you were doing 70mph, thats how bad it is. The best truck for shooting by far is the Toyota Hilux Pickup mk3, i have had them all, heres mine kitted out for Fox Shooting to suit my needs its 18 years young, and i challenge anyone with a road legal 4 x 4, to go up against mine the only things it cant do are FLY or SWIM. Regards Jimmy

Hella Roof Lamp...FOXING/VERMIN CONTROL Here we have for sale a brand new unused Hella Searchlight, the type you see on tops of Landrovers 4 x 4s etc: These are used for Fox & Rabbit Night Shooting and are also purpose built for Marine Search Vessels. The British Army used them in Nothern Ireland during the recent conflicts as they were strong and rubber armoured at front. To buy this new if you can find them will cost you £189.99 + VAT OPEN TO SENSIBLE OFFERS AROUND £150, this is not an auction i would really like £150 for this but you might have other ideas of its value to you. OR MAY BEEN OPEN TO A SWAP W.H.Y. Got I aquired this to replace the lightforce one i use on my truck, as i find this very unreliable always breaking and leaks water inside the cab, anyone who uses this type will no what i am talking about, however i have discovered that the hole made to accomodate lightforce lamp is larger than the Hella lamp requires so hence the reason for sale, so if you have a lightforce fitted and want to change it you will need to plate the roof 1st before you can use this one. It can be used as either 12v or 24v by changing the bulb. For anyone wishing to collect this item thats not a problem i am 8 miles south of Edinburgh in the Midlthian area. THIS WILL ALSO BE SUPPLIED WITH A GENUINE HELLA 12v BULB FOR THE LAMP

Listen both guys from birmingham,you will never get farmer/landowner to allow you to shoot on any of there land if they dont know you, its the way we live in today, to many thefts from farms, so they trust nobody. Best way is to get to know them 1st ask if they require any help around the farm Free of charge, dont mention shooting ,they may take you up on your offer as the busy lambing time is just about to start. Schmidt & Bender Fixed 6 x 42 better field of view, if buying 2nd hand watch out as to wheather its a 25.4mm = 1" tube or the slightly larger 26mm tube, if fitting to a Sako Or Tikka it doesnt matter as the Optilock Rings will do both sizes

Once A fox is lamp shy the only filter that will work is a TARTAN one, been trying for years to buy one with no luck, HA HA HA, I shoot foxes for a living and i am always asked to take care of lamp shy Foxes after the GUN HO regulars have been about, a Fox is an animal of instinct and will always stop for a look when he is 200 - 300 yards away, just keep the white light on him and let out a roar if it seems he isnt going to stop , he will definitly stop and look just enough time for you to nail him.
