This is the post cold war version. I flew Hunters in the early 60's, and the version in use then had a full blade, rather like a conventional sheath knife. There was once a recorded incident of it being used to cut off a trapped hand, in a middle east airforce when pilot was trapped in burning plane.

Jaymo, although it is in a browning box, you may well be right. Many others have made the same comment to me, that it is from Winchester 1500 and these two photographs from American gun site seem to confirm this. Thank you all for help

All the box says is " Magnum" and "12g" in pencil on the outside, but the printed illustration inside the box, which is from browning, herstal, liege, shows an automatic type action, with an identical forend

I have an old but new in box forend marked magnum and 12g. the box from herstal has an illustration of an auto or pump inside ( Not the A5 auto) I have not been able to identify it. It appears unused, but has a very few light storage or handling marks. If anyone can identify it, it will be for sale at around £20 including post

This is a forend from a new Browning Cynergy 12g, which was broken at front lower end by owner before gun was even fired. It is a very easily repaired fault, with no pieces missing and wood is clean with no oil penetration. Exact model is shown on label, £15 + postage at cost ( approx £4.00 ). I have several extra detailed photos, but they are too many to post here, so if interested, I can send to your email.

A more detailed description of the stock I need for a friend. The gun is a Miroku 7000 sporter, 12g, and it is just the wood that is required. Perhaps someone can tell me if Browning stocks are ever identical to Miroku?

It is short tang, no holes in trigger guard at rear. Help still needed!

It would definitely not take 30 inch barrels on an auto or pump. I am using an identical one for a 28 inch barrel fabarm o/u boxlock, which fits comfortably
