hello peejay i had the same problem with mine s reg diesel the problem was ontop of the air filter well in the round pipe that come's out the top of the filter were the you see a plug with about 6 / 8 wire's going into a plug it had corroded cleaned the terminal's 3 month's ago no problem since might help

called the manufacturer swift spoke to mr pope he now blaim's the ammunition . so i've spoke to eley who are looking into the batch number's and gmk who confirmed they have never had the problem selling 250,000 round's each month i was told after he and the shop had talked about the problem at lengh. the shop has decided to change the moderator . i thought ok at last the messing about is over . he then came out with the reason is because i wont listen to them i.e every part of the gun but the silencer he did say a baffle was not right . we have x ammount of year's experiance and knowledge so the exchange is basicly to keep me from moaning . HOW PATRONISING AND OFFENSIVE i expressed my feeling's about being insulted ,patronised , called into the shop collected my rifle now waiting for a variation no charge for a like for like all this over a 50 pound silencer . do they think i'm some kind of a nut ? that said i've used and seen these swift's being used and are brilliant silencer when working ok who need's it ay

been out today and tried a parker hale mod and another the very same one i'm having the problem with and no noise or anything proving that the problem must 100% be the drilling of the mod done by the shop popped into the shop on the way home told them what i had done tried the two mod's without any problem { even after all this sh++ with these people i must agree they are very good when working well } thinking they would exchange it surely .... was i wrong they insisted on testing the rifle i must be mad standing this b+++++ i asked them to romove it from my ticket and i'd just pay for a new one ..no we'll test the rifle and mod ..... can't go out till next satuarday so i agreed i know i must be crazy sent off for a variation today so can't do anything till it get's here anyway

don't realy understand why ?? surely you allow for the differance with your scope and zero it 1 mildot up or were 35yd's would on your scope ?

been out with the rifle again new ammo still getting 1 or 2 bang's out of 30 / 40 called the manufacturer asked for an exchange . again still won't accept it's the silencer and saying the gun not threaded properly he said the moderator as been adapted to the rifle and talked a load of balistic's and ended in saying he does'nt know what else he can do . charming decided to call the rifle importer and he confirmed my thinking well confirmed what is in front of me . the only thing changed is that the mod had been drilled out to 7mm on the say so of the manufacturer and this as altered the dimention's of the mod and no problem before . they couldn't see why the moderator had'nt been changed in the first place ,, which is what i asked them for so called into the shop today were i purchased the mod and again they are still saying cant see how it can be the silencer must be the ammo or rifle .. asked me to go in monday for them to test it i'll go in monday and ask well demand a new mod again . they will try to fob me off again .. i'll put the name of the manufacturer and the shop on to stop anyone else getting the same

hello yes they are subs i did ask for an exchange they now say it's the ammo may be old or damp ? bo++++++ i know this is what's great about this forum sensible straight forward answares i do agree with what you all say an exchange i'll give it a go today and if no change i'll tell them i want it replaced regardless cheer's

thaank's for your reply's i called the shop and they gave me every reason on earth it's the ammo being damp because it was only 8 100 . the silencer thread is not tight when screwing it on . it is when fixed i'll phone the manufacturer today and see what they say like said above i think it should have been exchanged thank's again

i bought a new moderator for my 22lr first time out i heard a high piched ting noise ? i was getting 2 or 3 in a 1 inch square out of a 5 mag and the rest flyer's thinking it was clipping i took it to the gun shop and spoke to the manufacturer he recommended drilling the baffles out to 7 mm which was done by the shop they said it looked like it had been clipping on two baffles ? took it out today and the first bullet a magtech 22 banged as if i had no silencer on the next few ok i then tried eley 22 and one out of 15 banged as if i had no silencer on cci 25 bullet's two banged as if i had no silencer on the silencer was on at all times and the rifle very accurate just wondered what you think ? cheer's
