  1. It's an uncertain time alright. I've faired quite well, not so for the deadwood that I've been able to move on. My bank's HR has finally grown a backbone and will now quite happily stand behind my resourcing decisions. So there are some upsides to being in the eye of this banking storm.
  2. She certainly knows her stuff, but would have to bring her own paper bag.
  3. too many tattoos for my likeing, she'd probably go down a storm in Essex.

As a rule, you really want to put the source as close to the display, expecially if your feeding HD through HDMI. So I'd have to agree with Harfordwmj about Multiroom. You could go the route of a centralised AV cabinet and a quality HDMI distribution switch from Crestron. This would allow all sources, DVD, SKY box#1 & #2 to be shared by all displays and feed the HDMI stream over your Cat5(e) infrastructure, but you wouldn't get around the shared Sky channel without the additional box. Take a look at http://www.crestron.com/products/show_prod...;model=DM-MD8X8 You'd need deep pockets.
  5. Black, asian, sporting a taliban beard, wear my jeans half way down my backside, drive a Civic Type-R  , wear a hoodie, refer to one's contemporaries as 'dawg'. ....Personally it's not worth carry, as I'm none any of the above.
  6. Dear Mrs Sweepy, I'm forever indebted for the mental image; contortions, stilettos, fury thing, discarded wrapper ...I could go on, but then thats quite a lot already going on in the back of a volvo.
  7. I understand that there's alot of space in the back of them there Volvos, plenty of leg room
  8. I was going to say something about being old enough to know your mum, but I think I'll leave it now
  9. Do we have too, this is the most efficient way to elevate one's post count while as the same time lowering one's maturity
  10. Can't actually say the same as I've been driving since you were ******* in your pants; without a claim, point or conviction. You should also think about getting your eye-sight tested as your ability to read number plates while driving recklessly fast seems somewhat below the requisite standard.
  11. You're thinking of a different section of road. I'm not in the habit of endangering myself or others. As for garyb, I'll be surprised if he makes it to 18 with a license.
  12. Is that a protest against the use of polyunsaturated margarine.
  13. The boy-racer doth protest too much methinks. Your statement places you at the scene, as I - the said 911 driver - did indeed scooby a white Avensis in a rather regrettable fashion. Yes Paul, very good. But it only counts when the 911 isn't parked.
  14. Yes I have to say i do believe in global warming. I will qualify that by saying it probably isn't man made and has happened before, numerous times. This reminds me a a BBC news item on Darwin's Galapagos Islands. The **** is doing a piece to camera about the need to 'save' the Islands as they are, because of their influence on Darwin's Origin of Species. Now this has to be the most idiotic, poorly educated excuse for a reporter. The Ironary is unbelievable. The whole point of Darwin's work was to show through natural selection, induced by environmental/ecological change, evolution diverged the species to exploit the new. Thereby presuming we can 'save' the Islands as is, would suggest a complete lack of understanding about the constant state of flux are environment is in...... Arhhh...that feels better
  15. Well I didn't know a Civic could be driven so fast by a 12 year old......you know who you are... Overtook a 911 on the Redbourne road heading into St. Albans around midday......BASC sticker in rear window.... Must have been seated on a bolster cushion....surprised you could reach the peddles
