    Looking for 243 and/or 308 rifle.

     

    I will consider any option as really not sure what to go for. :lol: Best option would be a screw cut rifle with moderator and mounts. I already have a scope for it, but might buy a full package with scope at good price.

     

    I really like Steyr Mannlicher rifles. Ultralite, half-stock Classic or older Luxus / L / SL model would be my favourite, but also a Pro Hunter / Mountain MKII synthetic stock. Any good S/H European rifle considered. It will be used for stalking so the lighter and shorter, the better. I also like a set trigger option.

    I would stop stalking if I ever run off that feeling.. :good:

     

     

    As for the buck, often if you you make some noise, e.g. crack a tree branch or shout, they usually go up and see what's going on and give you some time to take a shot.
