  1. I was sadder than that I can tell you!!
  2. Don't do it. I sold my Miroku 800 HSW when I was told to by the boss. I will never find another one for the £300 that I sold it for
  3. Thanks for that. Two words jump out at me are "preferable" and "should" so there is obviously some leeway. The "safe I am talking about is 3/4 ton and is built into a workshop I have. I wonder if that would make any difference
  4. I have a Vitara and Land rover both petrol. I would say its like comparing Concord to a Tigermoth!! I will leave it up to you to decide which is which!
  5. Does anyone know if you can keep guns in a safe in the garage or shed?
  6. Hi, Has anyone got a reloading machine for sale, also any books/data on the subject. Thanks
  7. Thanks chaps. It was -12 and the camera gave up soon after this picture but the geese kept coming and coming, we had 30 odd and then thought enough was enough. Just sat there taking it all in. The noise, and to see those geese coming in is something I will never forget. Great holiday
  8. Perhaps you can put a picture on if it's all finished. I got hold of an Armas Garbi Sidelock which needed barrels and stock doing. The woodwork is almost there but not done the barrels yet. The stock has got some beautifully figuring to it and as it's a copy of a best English gun, I'm hoping it will look good when it's finished.
  9. Nice job and very good instructions. Is there any "depth" to the bluing or does it seem like a "light" covering.
  10. Last years Goose Shoot. I put the gun down and took the photos as that seemed more sporting!!
  11. Always wanted one after seeing them in Guns and Ammo as a boy, waited 45 years and then got one.I wasn't disappointed, built like a brick outhouse. Yes they're old, heavy, but once you've shot one you realize the gun was so far ahead of its time the 3 or 4 million people that have bought them can't be wrong! They are very easy to clean and if you are into guns rather than into shooting, after a day out it is a pleasure to strip down and clean. When putting back together don't use to much oil. For the money you just can't beat 'em
  12. Graham is your Mec 700 for sale?
