Hi all
Due a change of gun am looking for a Browning/ miroku (open to models). 30" barrels 15"lop or thereabouts. Preferably nice timber or a better grade gun. Anything considered.
Also looking for a nice sbs, nothing premium but a nice occasional field gun.
Excuse my vagueness but I am just putting the feelers out.

Anyone got any leather boots for shooting? If so, how do you find them? Am fancying myself a pair for the winter. Pros and cons.......obv con.......may look a pr*ck

Nicked a moped, fell off and broke my ankle.
Made some Napalm in my garage, set it alight on the floor and when i got bored stamped it out with my foot, which it just stuck to........set alight to my trainers and my shellsuit bottoms and most of the garage. Managed to get them off. Dad discovered me.........large belt was involved........end of.

I never advertised it as being sleeved, i said to the guy i wasnt sure if it was or wasnt as a friend said he didnt know either......He would have to check it and inspect it on viewing. Which he did and was, on that day, happy with the purchase.
I can tell you now i wouldnt hold information from anyone and I think a few people would vouch for me being genuine. I aint a dealer or a gunsmith, and my gunsmith said this was a neat little gun when i had it in. Yes he is questionning the condition. He also emailed me after it was sold saying he had been out shooting and he had loved using it.
All very frustrating either way and appreciate your view

I opened the case and let him check the gun, sleeved or unsleeved the barrells were immaculate. It was a cracking little gun. Small amount of pitting under the foreend but what the hell do you expect for an old gun.

thanks for the advice. But no, i did NOT advertise it as being resleeved i merely said i think it may be on the phone and he would have to check. I bought it from the Auction house under the impression it was as it stated this in the catalogue so do i just pass it back to him to contact them. I didnt make anything out of the transaction.

Right, i had a wee side by side hammer gun. Nice little gun which i bought at auction, am sure it will be on here somewhere. It was advertised at auction as being resleeved.
I had the gun for about a year and decided to sell to fund something else. I advertised it on another webiste i think we all use and a gent came up from london to pick it up. I did NOT say in my advert it was resleeved as I kept details to a minimum and that it had normal wear and tear for its age but said to him i think it was and that he would have to check it on the day. The guy came up, bought the gun and got in touch a few months later saying it wasnt resleeved and he wants his money back.
Now as far as i am concerned i was pretty honest and let him check the gun etc and he said he was very happy. He's now getting a bit threatening...........whats your thoughts? I have never ever had any issues with sales or purchases so far and a bit worried.

See earlier adverts. Some Guns need to go due to new job and relocation.
If someone will give me £90 they can have it. Its an Ejector, clean barrells and tight action. Serviced when i bought it. I bought it in the hope of it being a 3" mag but it aint!
Good little game gun.
Let me know asap as the gun shop will give me the same i think but i cant get up to Weldon anytime soon.

Morning Guys,
my dads just getting his Firearms Certificate and we're looking to get him sorted out. We are in no rush (probs a couple of months) but would put a deposit down.
Looking for a cabinet ample enough to take scoped rifles.
Looking for .22 RF with mod and pref scopes. Probably a CZ but would also consider an Anschutz for the right price.
Potentially a .17 HMR.

Chokes at half and full
Barrels are immaculate as you can see. Wear and tear as expected with age but gun recently serviced and very tight and ejectors are strong.

Well am a Cumbrian lad and have just caught up on the full extent of this.
I used to go to school at St Bees about 2 miles out of whitehaven and played rugby with the young farmer who was shot and his brother. This is an absolutely horrendous incident and i fear there may be significant backlash for us guys.
My thoughts go out to all families who were in the area at the time.

Hi all
I'm not sure the etiquette here but this may be rude....
I am on a couple of shoots, we are ok for guns and dogs but I thought it may be an opportunity to ask anyone if they fancied the odd day out beating and have a dog. They are small syndicate shoots so can't offer much! I'll make your dinner maybe ha ha
More just a day out.
Please let me know if this isn't the place or good manners and ill take this down.
