You have your concerns and rightly so, as its at your door. Why should you confront someone with a gun when you can ring the police and they can sort it out

Same happened to me two years ago when i was out shooting, was walking along a dirt track on one of my permissions when there was a shot then a wizz of a bullet going past me. Then another one went past, i went over to the gate and saw two people across the field standing in the hedge one had a rifle. I give them a shout to let them no what had happened, they came over and were apologetic about it. And it ended up we are now shooting buddies even though we live 30 miles apart, so i would have a word with the keeper sooner rather than later. Hope this helps.

Winchester is what i use and i find them ok

Have the same rifle and it did the same with me but ended up it was the bullets CCI sub sonic they just didn't eject every time spent or live changed to a different make off bullet and that cured it hope this helps

Hi all myself and a friend are looking to try some deer stalking in England or Scotland this is new to us if we have to pay we will,i have a .223 my friend none so would need to hire a rifle if possible. In return i will lend you and a friend or your family for the weekend (maybe longer) my caravan 6 berth which i have on a caravan site 20metres from the beach in Country Down Northern Ireland. I will also take you pheasant shooting when in season (on land were birds have strayed to from nearby country estate) and also do some rough shooting for rabbits/hare and also maybe some in shore sea fishing weather permitting. I will do all driving to save you hiring a car, even if you don't want to go shooting the offer to use caravan for a break is there. As i am traveling to Norwich tonight it might be a day or two before i can get back to you

spoke to basc and they said it it was not illegal to shoot with a .22lr bolt action

spoke to farmer and he said its his land and if wild rabbits & pheasants come onto it i can shoot away at them and he also said as for the gamekeeper he has no right to come onto his land to speak to me about shooting pheasants that might have come over from his estate as birds have been around his land for years looks good for getting a bird or two for the xmas table think you would have more chance of wounding a pheasant with a shotgun than a .22lr

would love to try some duck or geese shooting can travel up to 30 miles from belfast if can't get shooting would be happy enough to watch or just help out.
