Thanks All, It's 4 pair cable but only using 3. I am aware of the tamper loop and have both the user and engineer codes for the panel as i installed it originally. I just need to double check on the tamper colours as i switched the trigger\tamper pairs to confuse anyone trying to disarm it lol, i obviously watched too may films where they cut the red wire to diffuse the bomb Jon.

Hi All, I just fitted some new kitchen units and in the process have obscured the alarm PIR. I need to extend the cable by about 3ft as when i fitted the alarm originally the cable was just right for where it was going. I have an FEO coming round in the next week or two to inspect for my SGC and would like to get it sorted before then. Not too worried as there are other types of sensor in there too but would like to have all the zones active. Any recommedations on joining the cables or will soldering and heat shrinking them be OK? Hi All, I'm pretty new to shooting, just done clays to date and have my SGC app in process. I have also been looking at airguns and am thinking it would be a good addition to my new found addiction ; Gun wise i have been pointed in the direction of an Air Arms S410 with a .177 cal. What i would like is some advice on scopes and what the different types are, particularly what the numbers mean. Any other useful advice would also be appreciated, i will initially be looking to target shoot and then once i'm accurate start taking out squirrels, rats and possibly taking it along as an option on pigeon days in addition to the SG.
