me and a mate called on a farm yesterday morning to do a bit of pigeon shooting and what a day we had we swore blind that we would never beat our pb but we have done it the day started of at 11 with me setting up with 6 deeks and the whirly in some laid barley while sean took a few deeks and sat in the barley under a telegraph pole neadless to say he was back in the hide with me after 40 minutes as he was witnessing some top shooting from me 25 birds dead for 30 shots 4 of these where left and rights we kept tallying the birds all day by 1oclock we had shot 102 and running out of carts so i poppe of to get some while i left sean with 50 shells iwas gone for 40 minutes and hed run out about 10 mins after i left he spent the rest of the time keeping the pigeons of the decoys i was back with another 250 plus shells and as soon as i sat in the hide sure enough the pigeons just kept coming in sean had to ring his missus up to bring the single barrel 410 hammer gun as it was looking like we were going to run out of shells again we took it in turns shooting the 410 shooting the easy ones and picking up the further away ones with the 12 we finished shooting at 5oclock and picked up until 7 TOTAL BAG 234 i shot 120 12 of these where left and rights claiming 5 with the 410 sean shot 114 with the same l/r and a further 6 with the 410 thrashing our pb of 183 by 51

i used a few of these last year for rough shooting game and pigeons they where 32gram 6 and i found them a really hart hitting cartridge killing birds dead at a fair range

you where driving around fields of barley? your tellin me they have been busy binding allready. as for the fox i would go for a head shot to be sure
