Yes I am the proud owner of a B125 and a Beretta Xtreme - owning the B125 for over 21 years. The reason I was asking about the Escort is that I require a knock about gun for foxing etc, and don't want to damage my other guns. Incidently I have had three replacement stocks on the B125 due to no fault of my own, this was caused by cracking around the semi pistol grip - the first stock replaced on guarantee during the first twelve months of owning the gun, I had to pay for the other stocks.

Why are there so many Escorts always up for sale? And sellers always stating hardly used! I was interested in buying one myself but I am a bit suspect of their reliability. As my local Gundealer refuses to take any in part-exchange unless they test them first. I would be interested in comments from other PigeonWatch members who own or have owned these semi-autos.

I have just purchased a CZ .17 HMR with 3-12x50 scope. Can someone please advise what range to sight the rifle in at? Also what magnification to set the scope at 50 yards & 100 yards?

I have just purchased a CZ 452 .17 HMR - can someone tell me in their experience the best make and grains of ammo to use and their reasons. Thanks.

It is a lovely gun, I have had a lot of offers which have been refused - I would rather keep it than sell it less than the asking price. The gun has been a real sleeper!!

Went out again today - used the gun as suggested by covering the target - SPOT ON!!! - worked a treat!! Thanks to everybody for their help and advice. GRT.

Hi, Are you supposed to clean out the silencer? - I was told they work better when they get gummed up a bit. GRT.

Hi, Thanks for your reply - I will try it out again tomorrow by covering the target, I will also take some brown paper sheet to test where the pattern is going. Regarding your comments on using fibre wads - I was told not to use these as pieces of the wadding will get stuck in the holes inside the barrel. Maybe another member can advise. Regards. GRT.
