I think the picture is a little clearer and I appreciate your replies....... What I can't get my head round is this..the mod is classed as Firearm on my ticket to possess one it needs to go on my ticket, so if I bought an air rifle one it wouldn't be entered on my FAC therefore to attach it to the rimmy would be illegal as it doesn't occupy a slot ? If this wasn't the case peeps wouldn't bother asking for mod slots would they ? the slot is permission to hold or acquire not use.. ATB Slug

I have 2 slots for mods but I am a little confused as to suitability of un proofed mods on a 22 rf, if it is sold to me as air rifle mod it wouldn't (Presumably) go on my FAC and yet if I attached it to the rimmy it becomes part of the firearm and plod start asking questions. Cheers S

Can someone please explain to me from both a technical construction and legal view point the difference between a mod held on 'Slot' for .22 rf and one purchased over the counter for a sub 12 Air Rifle ?..Are they interchangeable and if they are why have slots for them ? Cheers Slug
