Im wanting to buy a rotary, the uk shootwarehouse have the standard on special offer. im wondering if any one can tell me how long the arms are on the standed rotary machine. ive been told the longer the better is this true.

I was out on sunday got set up by 11.30 over some barley stubble. ive been watching the field for over a week, wid some 500 birds feeding on it. set up deeks wid floaters. The birds started dropping in slowly, by 1.00pm shot 20 or so. then it realy got going, non stop till about 7.00pm. I had a count up and i got my first ton my best bag ever. Total bag 103 woddies and 3 rooks. The pictures will be going up soon when ive work out how to put them up from my mobile phone

The woddies are hitting on the layed barley in my area 58 birds in 4 hours thats my best bag too date. Its all dairy country round here so its hard to find the birds feeding in large numbers. I must of hit lucky, cant wait till next weekend having a go on the stubble

Im up in Cumbria, most of the pigeons at the mo in this area are hammering the clover but not in great numbers. Theres a few on the drillings but alot more crows :thumbs:

Ive just bought the flapper that is on offer from the shooting Warehouse, ive also bought the 7.0 amp 12 volt battery. does anyone know how long this will last Cheers :
