  1. Hi Guys Many thanks for your help and responces. Somebody is coming to view Lilly tomorrow. I shall update accordingly after. Regards
  2. It is regretfuly and with sadness that i am having to look for a new home for my bitch Lilly. She is a Nova scotia duck tolling retriever x Choc lab. Being in the forces and my wife having young children we cant give her the quality of life she deserves so i am looking for someone to give her this. I got Lilly from a family friend she is approx 6 years old and a very gentle temperament but a high level of energy. She will walk to heel and sit on command but is by no means a working gun dog. Please pm me if you are intrested. Thanks
  3. I gave it a go this morning in 2H and the front two light kept flashing for 5 miles then i switched back into 4H. Im wondering as i have only had the car 1 week it has yet to get above 2 deg C out there. Along with my Lit wheels on the dash i have constantly had an orange square with a picture of the vehicle sliding on the road. Is this because the car is sensing that its low temp and potential risk of ice and when i change to 2H it flashes to prompt me to be in 4H due to the risk of ice??
  4. Ok il will give it a whirl, they were flashing so after pulling off they kept flashing for a couple hundred yards so i pulled over and whent back to 4H
  5. Im not sure which it is. Basicly i have the automatic stick whic gives me Park Nuetral Reverse Drive 2 L If fine with those Then the second smaller gear stick Has i think from memory 4LLC?? (im in the office and cant go check if thats spot on) 4L 4H 2H When i put it in Drive and 2H i get the front two wheels flashing and the back two permanantly lit.
  6. Thanks chaps, much appreciated. Iv got to grips with it i think. When i put it in to 2h i get two perminantly illuminated green wheels and two flash i can get simply two green is that correct?
  7. Hello I have just purchased my first 4 x 4 and unfortunantly there is no manual with it. Can somebody be so kind to give me an "idiots" guide to the non automatic gear stick, what should i be in for road use/off road? Your help is appreciated
  8. I think your right there mate but thats just it. David Haye has gave Harrison his pay day and Harrison will oblige by punching him and will David remain standing................................................................
  9. Ordinary Harrison, FRAUDley Harrison, A - Farce all pretty much sum him up but i wouldnt want a left hook from him
  10. I rekon that he will be sold at the end of the season. With 4 years on his contract the sale could be 60m +
  11. Amatuer boxing breeds technic but not heart which has been Harrisons downfall and probably will continue to be, He has great technic but his years in the amatuer ranks has left him with no real killer instinct something Haye has in abundance. Anyone claiming there is not fight here is overlooking the beauty in boxing. Its the "sweet science" its an application of skill. Harrison will not try to knock David Hayes head off like alot of people who dont understand it think boxing it about. He will try and control the centre of the ring, Make Haye work for that knock out he deperatly seeks, try and sneak rounds through clever positioning and strong defence.....but he will fail i think. However he does have a punchers chance because he will hit David. Up to now David Haye has thought Barrett (journeyman), Ruiz (terrible shape/walking punchbag) and Valuev in the heavyweight division undesputedly one of the worst heaveyweight champions of all time. Harrison is not world class but none of those guys hit david haye with any venom. harrison will the test will be if Haye is still standing. If he is still standing he will destroy Harrison.
  12. I hope it lasts longer as me and the misses have got tickets to it. Haye to win but Haye has never been chineed by a heavy weight yet and history has proved that Haye can be knocked out. Harrison won a gold at the olympics therefore technacly can box FACT! i think he will land a couple on hayes chin and it will be intresting to see hayes resistance.
  13. This was Fergies greatest ever mind game, he as the manager with all the background staff reliying on him keeping his job can not come out and openly critisis the owners, he can however send out wayne to cause all this and force the owners to give him/wayne assurances of investment in the future, he used to do the same thing with roy keane to comment of refs and other managers/players. Fergie is a genius and knows exactly what he is doing. The thing that is intresting to me is that Wayne has signed a 5 year deal and stated its due to the managment in place, so what has Fergie agreed to ? will he also be staying another 5 years?
  14. i was considering waiting till the frost but reading this my throat has is yearning for the taste, last years batch was lovely and i picked them mid october so think i shant wait and fill my boots tomorrow.
  15. I live about 10 miles from huntingdon. Im mainly a deer stalker but do help out some local land owners with rabbitts and pigeons. PM me your contact details and when i next hit the rabbitts your welcome to come along.
  16. My message on the 7th of march is still the last on the thread mate asking for an update as you had told me you would consider me being aloud to join (pay you) to assist with the cull.....do to me advertising stalking for a gamekeeper friend you did'nt want me on the land.
  17. Id be more than willing to offer a days pigeon shooting over acres and acres of wonderful rape if you would be so kind to reply to my post/PM regarding the cull weekend you were offering.........
  18. I suppose it depends on the individual, i was told due to my previous experiance i would only need a couple of reciepts from accompanied stalks and they would be able to open my ticket up in about 2 months time.
  19. Your right... thats why cambridgeshire stalkers have the ability to knock our deer over at 1000 yard + (once we have zeroed our rifle of course)
  20. I appreciate the reply nick, i was hoping to find someone with land they use outside a range as i dont have the £90 joining fee for the range. Regards
  21. Hi guys I thought i would post this here on the off chance someone may be able to assist me. Im off to pick up my new .243 this afternoon. I have been asked to help a friend out with the rifle at the weekend but i will need to zero it before that only really leaving me tomorrow to do this. Is there anybody locally to me (cambridge) that would have land suitable for me to do this? Thanks in advance
  22. Im still waiting to hear back from the proposer. Can you let me know the situation mate?
  23. My wifes like a hawk when im on here......maybe why i pop on whilst at work so much...Id say i have it slightly worse, my last 4 or 5 ventures onto my permission have yielded 1 rabbit and a couple of pigeons. This has prompted my wife to accuse me of not going shooting and seeing another women......not only am in not getting much whilst out shooting but my poor shooting is bringing accusations of infedelity!
