  1. i withdraw my intention to buy, i cant wait forever, a bargain for someone here, good luck
  2. still waiting to hear mate i sent Dave a PM as well as posting here and as yet nothing,
  3. ive never (famous last words)had one damaged yet as long as they are well packed, but as long as we can still send by special delivery (are you 100% on that Andrew) and be covered then its worth the extra few pounds
  4. dont think your even covered on special delivery now ( could be wrong) but you dont tell em its a gun and if its gone missing who are they to argue its machine parts simple's but i aint going to miss it for £10 lol standard parcel used to be the way to send em but but you aint covered on that now as far as i know
  5. i thought so too, if it does come my way it will be my winter hunter so not too worried about cosmetics as long as it shoots nice,
  6. PM sent i will take this please Dave if you will post, i will pay postage (parcel_force 48 £15) cheers Andy
  7. i have an SMK15 junior gun .177 tuned with NikkoSterling 3x9x40 scope and mounts good little gun £50 posted
  8. greywolf1958 just a little pointer mate the QB78 is a Chinese copy of a Crosman 160 (very tunable indeed), the 2260 is a totally different gun altogether, both are good guns in their own right but not the same. regards Andy
  9. dont know how i missed this posting Harlow
  10. OK lets get a few facts on the table a new BSA springer is intact a Gamo (Spanish Gamo own BSA) a new Webley is a Hatsan made in Turkey an SMK is a chines made gun but we all new that right. now there is a lot of talk of SMK are **** and i have to agree they used to be but with new machining and quality control they are as good if not better than the new BSA and Webley badged imports, the difference is they cost about half the price and as with any gun in this bracket a bit of spit and polish and you have a really good gun.most people who have encountered a chines gun have come across an early B1/2 and done the old they are **** and so presume that all chines guns are the same and they are not,one of my most accurate guns is chines and it has accounted for more bunnies at 60+yds than i care to count all one shot clean kills at sub 12ftlb it has cost me in total with a nice scope bag bipod and paintball co2 tank £130 and about 10 hours polishing and fettling, but and its a big but i know my gun inside out it is easy to work on parts are chines cheep and it never has to go to an RFD (rip of merchant)for a service or repairs saving me more cash and time. So for those who are not in the know and are not gun snobs may i suggest you take a closer look at these great little guns and save yourselves a packet cheers Andy
  11. take a look here at the swiss arms they have backpack straps and are the size you are after http://www.airshooter.co.uk/acatalog/Rifle_Cases_Slips.html good luck Andy
  12. hello mate would you be interested in a swap if so what would you like give me a clue and i will see what i can do atb Andy
  13. i have shot plenty of tree rats and find RWS Hobby pellets the 12.5grn wad-cutter knock the little bu**ers out of the tree nicely also do a nice job on bunnies and woodies too (head shots) out to 40 yds
  14. nice gun shoot well wouldnt be without mine taken lots of bunnies with it i have got a rap4 12g co2 adapter on mine and it makes the gun lighter and also improves balance but the main thing is it makes it a lot cheaper on co2 from one 88g co2 you will get 150ish shots and they are £4.99 a pop so 4 of them give you 600 shots (cost inc PnP £25) 50x 12gco2 costs £15.50 and you get 20 shots per 12g so 1000 shots (cost inc PnP £20.60) £250 dont sound a bad price new all i can say is i would buy another one i love it but each to his own good luck Andy
