And the moral of the story is ......
Just living up to his user name?

You could eat them for Xmas yup- although the hens don't make much of a bird, hence why they can fly.
An air rifle would dispatch them if shot in the head.
Thanks
Alex
The last one I shot was with a .177 at 376 yards, pellet entered straight through the eye socket, exactly where I was aiming.

Made good eating too.

Well done. Would have been nice to see the dog in the photo too.
Who do you think was taking the photo?

Hi,
I think it all depends on the source on information, if these new guys have spoken to you directly then I'd attempt to educate them on all the work and effort that you've put in, fight your case and if it was me I wouldn't be forced out! If it's just word of mouth or hearsay from one of the existing members clarify what's been said and by whom as it may be someone is rocking the boat and wants you out.
In short get the facts before you do anything, if that means calling a meeting and getting all members to attend it's better to resolve it now than let it ramble on..
Good luck, hope all get resolved in your favour.

Sadly I can't make this one, although after taking the wooden spoon last time out it's probably best for team Norfolk that I can't.

Are you doing the ngci short course decoy , or going the whole hog and doing the lot
All I know is it'll be two weeks covering NGC 1,2 & 3..

Stands for:
National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health

Just wondered if any PW members have completed Nebosh national certificate and how you found it?
I'm on the two week intensive course from Monday..
-
Don't know what to think really what are you actually talking about?
-
Size 11's?
-
Perfectly legal as you say they are only tubes, may not pattern very well though. I believe they were used by warreners for shooting rabbits up against rabbit netting in plantations, although I could be wrong.

Leave it running over night, if you're lucky someone might even steal it!!

Had a good day Tuesday, always nice to get out in the field shoot a few bunnies and meet new members, thanks again Dan.
Looking forward to the reports & pictures of both days..

Yeah, been in numerous posts, mate - sorry
In fact, it's been round nearly as much as the fox & rifle pic
Fox & rifle, not sure I remember that one  :look:

after a few phone calls today between me and cgr i got home and found it had been delivered as promised
to be honest even though what people have told me about them id use them again theyve done everything they said and got it to on time,
fudd
Glad your jumper arrived on time, personally I wouldn't use them as why would I want to order an item online and then have the ball ache of repeated phone calls. Doesn't sound like quality service to me.

Yellow budgie, it landed on top rail of a fence around a paddock. It was quite tame and my father managed to pick it up, we took it home never found the owner and must have kept it for a good 3-4 years before he passed on.

Surely the Essex boys are up for a three way??

Austin Metro 1000cc Reg C516 WRT.
Soon moved onto a 1400cc Mk4 Ford Escort Reg E361 GPV, wrote that off and bought a cheap Mk3 Escort reg B466 SCG.
Had some good times in those 3 cars, often squeezed 8 people in the metro on a friday night!

You can add my name to the list, looking forward to it.

In reality how the heck would anyone find out if you caught something other than a mole ?
By broadcasting it over a public forum?
-
My advice would be to find another PW member or reputable shooter in your area to perhaps educate you on the etiquette of shooting game, get out there, learn and enjoy.

I've not seen this in a pheasant poult but do know of a mature cock pheasant that would attack people. He took a real dislike to a retired farm worker who lived on the estate, he'd follow him between his house and allotment/garage etc and they would spar.
Then came the day the guy stepped out of his back door one morning and said pheasant flew down from the top of his single storey kitchen roof spurring him down the side of the face in the process, didn't miss his eye by a lot either!
So marked the end for that particular pheasant.
Not that I'm saying your fella is going to turn out like this one, but watch your back :look:

I don't care if you shot them at 10 or 100 yards, looks like you had a good day so well done fella.
