here is my slant on it ,i did a 5year (old school) apprentiship to qualify as a spark too many students use college as a skive , i was dragging armoured cables into factories for peanuts £28 per week whilst my best mate did a graphic design course with a grant and a sat job in woolworths picking up £80 a week ,my last apprentice has just left to join one of the major electricity supply companies having done his full apprentiship and gaining his electrical design degree at night school,proving if you really want to do somthing bad enough you will find a way, too many people chop and change courses ,and are serial students in it for the long hall some interviewed on the tv looked to be well in their fifties to me never done a days work in their life ,may well have degrees ,but educated idiots with no common sense i bet

for what its worth very impressed with mine never missed a beat initially found stripping it down a pain (compared to an over and under )but this comes with practice ,seem to hold the money also

i want to remove the white bead on my winchester sx3 so i can fit an illuminous sight bead any tips for unscrewing the existing one ,is it a pliers job or is their a more cultured approach i,m missing, cheers

thanks steve and kev i was beginning to wonder if anyone would reply ,i,m really torn between add on or dedicated ,i,ve swung between the merlin cobra as an add on or the pulsar gs 2x50 used with a doubler ,both used in conjunction with n1000 laser for extra illumination ,at present i,m using a bushnell elite 4200 with front pa ,so if i went for an add on it means investing in new optics ,i,ve only been using the hmr for night use (rabbit and fox) range 50-80 yards ,i started off thinking about spending 300 ish 2nd hand and before you know it my stash has crept up ,i,ve had lots of offers from yorkshire to look through their nite vision ,but ideally if anyone has a set up i could look through in the midlands this would be most appreciated cheers ade

mamba for me too mate cracking value scopes side pa ,spend double ,if you like but we compared the glass at the game fair with most of the leading brands couldn't see the difference for 100 yards you wont go wrong

after shooting under the lamp for years i,m thinking about taking the night vision route ,i only use my cz hmr at night ,so i fancy dedicated in the form of a yukon sentinal either 2 or 3 mag plus a doubler, i usually shoot at 6 times mag ,anyone got one of these on a hmr? , had any problems with the sentinal ,all comments appreciated

couldn,t negotiate a good deal on winchester x3 with any dealers today ,advise to anybody who hasn,t been before is haggle on the prices ,(best quote of the day came from a guy doing custom stocks ,i asked the question do you do a stock for cz 452 ,his answer was if he had a tenner for every one who asked that he would be a millionare, well do ya i asked ? ,don't think they would be any call for em was his reply not the sharpest knife in the drawer me thinks!
