  1. Charlie Boy- Border/Jack Russel- 13. Fantastic dog, so badly missed. Love ya boy
  2. We've just lost our dog, but have been offered a border collie pup who'll be ready to go in oct. We havent had a collie before but we've always liked them. We know he'd be more energetic that our old dog, but thats okay. Our old dog got to the point where he would refuse to come on anymore walks Anyone got any tips on basic training for collies? We havent trained a dog before and would like to have a go with this one. Should be interesting! I figure NTTF knows his dogs, so have you got any tips, in easy language i can understand? lol I'll re-read your training plans for some of the others you've written and try and gain some insight from there too. The pup were actually getting was from a litter of 3, but apparently the bitch isnt very maternal and smothered the other two in her sleep, how will this effect the remaining one? Are we gonna make a big mistake getting this dog? Help!

    Another joke

Did you hear about the blind circumciser? He got the sack. Jeremy Beadle was masturbating one day. Thinking, he says to himself 'My 'equiptment' is pretty small....on the other hand, its huge!'
  4. Jack russel, Bobby, who brings back rabbits and that which he hunts in the woods,, and also brings back the odd badger. Any tips on how to stop the little sod doing that? Charlie (died a few weeks ago ) Jack russel X border terrier, grand little dog, very sadly missed
  5. I've kept ferrets before, but never been ferreting before. I shoot, and hunt and that but the only people i know who keep ferrets for flushing rabbits are really weird old men who I wouldnt trust with a broomstick None of my family know how to neither which is a pain. The main reason why I want to get into it is because I love cooking and theirs nothing better than fresh rabbit! I make do with butcher shop ones at the moment but would love to go get my own Thanks for the concern Cranfield/magman, If I find anyone in the area who is willing to teach me, I'll make sure i bring my big brother along :(
  6. Hey all Im a 16 yr old lass from Rutland and I love all things country! Would like to start ferreting and netting wabbits and was wondering if anyone had any tips because im bound to make the classic mistakes! Oh, and if any experienced countrymen live in the area and wouldnt mind showing me the ropes, i would gladly accept. (when i said experience, and showing me the ropes, i obviously mean with ferreting and that ) Pudsx
