hi all, im having a bit of a clear out and these are spare. ive got a 10rnd cz mag (used twice) and a MTM .22 ammo box (mint). i was hoping to get £12 for the ammo box (delivered) and £15 for the mag(delivered). cheers, steve.

if they are 4 bore loads, any ideas on the best place to sell them. i saw one go on ebay a while back but i think it was an eley or something. i think it went for about £30 or something. not sure id be able to put these on there though as they appear to still be primed. ive had a google look and cant seem to find out much about them, also there doesnt seem to be many uk sites for cartridge collectors??. cheers, steve.

hi all, i dug these out the other day from the brass collection. im not sure but they look like they may be 4 bore cases. the cases seem to be too thin to be rifle use and the ends of the cases seem to have had a roll over crimp put on them. both are empty but appear to still be primed. any info much appreciated. steve.

hi mate, nice munty there. when ive prepared a few mounts i bleach the skull with hydrogen peroxide. it brings the skull out very bright, to add colour to the antlers you can mix potassium permanganate with a bit of water and use it to touch in a bit more colour. when mixed with water its bright purple but soaks in and dried brown. try getting hold of some and give it a practice go on a spare mount to see what you think before using it on a trophy head though. steve. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_permanganate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxide

ive always used WD-40 on my shotguns rifles and airguns. as ferrodo says, i would follow these instructions to the T. One thing i do extra is to drop the action of my rifles out of the stock every few months and give it a wipe over, then i give the underside of the barrel and action a spray. when it has evaporated off i drop it back in to the stock. ive sat in the rain for hours at a time waiting for a foxes and never found a spot of rust under the action when servicing the guns. steve.

ooohh, soo much advice. thanks to all that have posted. there seems to be about a 50/50 mix between getting it cut down and not!!. does anyone know the sort of costs involved?. im still interested in getting the "chop" (rifle that is) but don't want to destroy the accuracy. i guess it all comes down to the money involved. many thanks, steve.

hi all. ive got a CZ452 american in .22lr, at the moment its got the std 20" barrel and i was toying with the idea of having it taken back to about 15" to reduce the overall length when the mod is fitted. has anyone done this already and can anyone reccomend a gunsmith that can shorten, re-crown and thread the barrel, or should i just leave it as it is. off the bipod it shoots sub 1" at 95 yards. any ideas?. cheers, steve

hi all, im sorting through my small collection of big 12g loads as ive now started trying to put a collection of 10g together. ive got these up for grabs if anyone's interested in swapping for some 10g stuff (anything considered). i would put them in the "for sale" section but ive no idea what i paid for them. ive got a part box of three crowns. 34g. SG. fiber wad. 65mm. 20 left in the box. two complete boxes of rottweil. ??g. SG. fiber wad. 67,5mm. two complete boxes of 10 one box of nsi super magnums. 56g. 0. plastic wad i think. 76mm. one complete box of 10 i think all are lead shot.
