  1. hi all I'm after a Rowan engineering air arms s400 multi shot conversion for my best mate must be left and must be the 15mm type and in .177
  2. The best place is woodend in at huthwaight decent place
  3. i can see exactly where you are coming from, yes i paid £1000 for the rifle on its own and yes it shoots exactly the same as my mates air arms s400 which he paid £425 new but what you get from a daystate that no other company offer is the best customer care and after sales service that you will NEVER GET FROM ANY OTHER COMPANY and its hard to describe but its the shooting experience and the smoothness you don't get from any other rifle thats what your paying for
  4. best scope i have ever brought and i have brought a few and it lets so much light in the scope you can not really appreciate how good they are till you have looked through one
  5. its the new MTC VIPER CONNECT and the objective lens is only 32MM its designed so you can put your eye directly onto the eye peace, takes some getting used to as the scope needs to be so far back but its the best £250 i have ever spent
  6. i have owned mine for about 1 year now love it to bits what you want to do to your air ranger first of is buy a Rowan engineering trigger they are 100 percent the best triggers for the air ranger and then you want to make it into a carbine by having the shroud cut down but not the barrel (you can take of max 7") it makes it look so much nicer heres a pic of mine look how much shorter it is and it has not altered the range or accuracy at all
  7. heres my little baby shes debbie the daystate air ranger
  8. sorry about that im after those pesky pigeons
  9. i fill my air ranger to 200 bar no problems there, if you look on the side of the shroud there is the max fill pressure engraved on it
  10. good on you for taking the plunge mate you will love it, which part of derby are you from pal im at alfreton
  11. hi all just purchased 2 flocked magpie decoys and 2 flocked crow decoys and i all ready have 4 pigeon decoys all my decoys are full bodied and i have just got a rotary the question i am asking is do i still need more decoys as im only just geting into decoying so still a novice any help would be great lads
  12. Mate that's excellent really looking forward to the day I can take my lad out shooting for the first time but he's only 5 but good on your lad for getting the rat
  13. I have gave up with the camera I have changed it so many times and it does what it wants to do plus it's a cheapo I wondered if anyone would pick that up lol never mind lol and to top it of it was about 2.30 not 12ish
  14. went out this afternoon after i went to the newark shooting show was after some pigeon for tea and ended up with something else ow well never mind its better than nothing

    New s400

My best mate has just brought a new s400 superlight in hunter green stock in .177 and I am gob smacked how accurate his rifle really is
  17. Thanks for the really nice replies and Duncan the original trigger block does not have enough adjustment as I'd like so I'm opting for a rowan engineering trigger block and I haft to admit I can not leave a rifle standard for long I always have to tweak it some way I'm at the moment polishing the internals for more smoothness and as long as it's still 11.6ftlb it's all good as I don't have FAC
  18. I'm with rabbiter on this one happend to me twice and both times they was the same
  19. Mate I feel for you that just sounds like what happens to me when I plan something
  20. 100 percent agree with the new law it's only for the best of our sport
  21. It is an awesome gun love it to bits just waiting on a new trigger block to arrive that will make it a nicer
  22. yes mate it is a cube but you pull the centers out so each side is pointed to deflect wind
  23. not a problem at all mate my gunsmith did it for me and it was even on a sunday aswell and he charged me £30 in total but it was not the barrel he shortened it was only the shroud he lathed it 1" past the barrel the only thing that he did to the barrel was to put a 1/2 unf thread on it for me so it did away with the stupid daystate adapter so now my carbon silencer screws directly onto my barrel never take anything of a daystate barrel as the accuracey will be poo and your groupings will be shotgun style so leave the barrels alone
  24. very good indeed it took abit of tweeking after i had 7" taken of then i had the barrel threaded now its back to pellet on pellet
  25. ill haft to let you no as i only took delivery over the weekend but they are very strong
