I had same idea as you Stevo, I usually shoot 1/4 & 1/2 but went for the middle of the two. I now use 3/8 in both barrels & never change them! I use them for Skeet and Sporting with White Gold 8s & find they break everything, right out to some 55 yard crossers I encountered at a shoot a little while back. providing there's no user error on my part of course!

She's not really interested in having her own gun but would need her own certificate to shoot at some of the grounds I shoot at. But if a certificate was granted I'm sure it would be on the basis that she could at some point buy her own gun and would need storage that she had personal access to & not have to ask permision to use mine. I'm sure the best & only solution is as suggested a break down safe to meet the criteria & serve the purpose if she chooses to buy her own gun at some point.

I agree entirely and wouldn't feel safe knowing That somebody else had access to my safe, even if it was agreed & legal it's not going to happen. I had already made my mind up that she either has her own Safe or dosent apply for the certificate but was curious to know if some of you chaps had encountered the problem too. Thanks for the replies and info in advance.

My wife wants to apply for her SGC, problem is she can't share my safe as it contains section 1 firearms. A second safe is far from ideal due to space. I will of course consult with my FEO nearer the time but wondered if anyone else has encountered this issue & what your FEO may have suggested?

Just got a Yo-Dave kit delivered from Canada in under a week great service & great kit too, it contained more shims than the other kits & a replacement roll pin that wasn't in the other kits aswell! Definately worth doing but choose the spring carefully as the lighter springs in the kit can make the trigger lethal!!

Yep, use Phillips Gun Barrel Cleaner on my M2 with no problems. Does anyone know if the original oil that comes with a new Benelli is the same as say Napier gun oil? I never opened my Benelli oil and use a different brand, just wondered if it was thicker / thinner etc.

I called Exeter and asked if they would consider opening my ticket and was told they wouldn't look at it for at least 3 years. Better than five on renewal though.

I tried one, great if you wanna watch the end of the gun and not the target! Have a go at watching your hand when catching a ball or the bonnet of you car whilst driving! Forget the bead, watch the target & hand eye coordination should take care of the rest.. Hopefully lol. Just my opinion, but we are all different and they obviously work really well for some as a lot of people rate them very highly. Definatly worth a go for the money it may be perfect for you.

Surefire EP6 or EP3 are the most comfortable ear plug I've found. According to the website the forces use them too. I also use them for work they are that comfortable. About £15 - £20 I think depending where you order them.

http://www.viperkit.co.uk/site/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1550 I have a CZ style in 16" with an SM11 moderator & it fits perfectly in this case, just the right length. As Dekers says the bipod changes things a little but I have no doubt it would fit in this.

Agreed! A nice colour on a car dosent make it go faster, but if you bought a new one and the paint was rough you'd be less than impressed I'm sure.

With so many specialised products available, why would you want to?

Between the brand new SP1 & the 16 year old 425 I cleaned after shooting this weekend the brownings barrels came up like mirrors, wish I could say the same for the SP1! Don't know why but dosent matter how or what I do they won't clean up like the browning or the Miroku I have, they always seem really dull almost matt like.??. Always uzing brown gunge aswell after a 50 or so cartridges, never noticed this on either the browning or Miroku. Shame because I really like the SP1 it's a great gun but it's been my first & only experience with a beretta & I was a little disappointed.

My MK-70 does this, it's normal dont worry about it.

Miroku a fake Browning  Who makes the majority of the Brownings now?
