  1. Hi mate we are looking at everybody as there has been an overwhelming response. Regards
  2. I put a thread up a while back about these mate. I got one and whilst dry training it simply fell apart. Its held together with cable ties and that's no joke. A real monkey is cheaper! Lol
  3. Double cab boot liner Fits up to 57model not the one with sloping back. Good condition £120
  4. Hi mate, looks very similar to pigeon conditioner be interesting to see if there was much price difference. Good idea tho it will keep them busy. Might give it a go

  6. We are in the process of looking at applications now.
  7. Agree its your worst nightmare mate an otter, I have a lake in the cotswold which is mainly carp proper old english fish up to 40lbs in weight, the otters more or less cleaned me out in a very short space of time. We then spent 7k on otter fencing the entire lake around 15acre. One of the members caught a guy red handed only last week pushing a baby otter through the otter fence. When challenged he ran off. Most are hand reared and introduced by the do gooders and the antis! If people remember on their bill it was hunting fist then fishing then shooting! The otters are a real menace they will destroy a fishery overnight. The law is very clear on control of these its simple you harm an otter in any way you will be prosecuted! Legally you are not even allowed to humane trap them. Inform the fishery and do all you can. Its happening up and down the country and needs to be stopped so many people are losing their livelihoods due to these.
  8. Thank you to all those who have applied. We will be looking at all the replys we have had this week. Regards
  9. You might be in a fortunate position where you have permissions and are able to beat as and when you like, I would say there are plenty of people who would love to go beating yet haven't toot the connections or the info where to start, I'd also say just because you go beating does not mean you will be allowed on the land keepers have there regulars and are very reluctant to grant permission. This is an opportunity for someone to get in the inner circuit. I have a keeper that has been on the estate for 30 yrs full time, the knowledge, opportunities and experience for someone who is generally interested in game and conservation is priceless. I don't see to many other posts offering permission at all?! Thanks again for all those interested I will be looking at all parties early next week.
  10. Scolopax What's your gripe? This is a good solid offer with other benefits. Which would be revealed To the right candidate. A lot of shoots have this kind of arrangement. I can tell you now finding permissions in notts is very difficult so I'm simply offering someone and olive branch.
  11. Hi guys. Those of you who have been in touch please bare with me I will reply once gathered enough potentials. Many thanks

  14. Hi chris, Iv just taken on a part time keeper for a new lease. The ground is 1700 acre 400 of woodland. We will be putting down 4000 pheasant 1000 partridge. The keeper lives on the estate so he hasn't got any travelling. We have a quad and all fuel supplied. I'm not going to say on here what we have agreed on but pm me and we can see what the diff is. Iv said to him, if he wants to take people out pigeon shooting etc for a fee then its all his, also all the money from sold game is his and naturally all tips. If we put on any extra days he would also get a drink. All deer are his too. Pm me mate
  15. Hi john I ditched wellies a while ago, now I use lowa combat gtx gortex. Amazing boot. Iv used them for everything fully waterproof and I can honestly say my feet have never once been cold. And will out last wellies easy.
  16. Sparkie I'm not saying there is anything wrong with pockets am I!? And I'm certainly no monkey as you put it. And what's wrong with buying the odd gadget!
  17. Your right there mate. The video watches quite well. And I'm sure a real monkey is cheaper!
  18. Any of you guys seen the monkey loader, well I bought one on a whim £120, I would have been better off buying a real monkey and it would have been far more efficient than this thing. It might be good for holding pound coins or padlocking your bike up but that's it. Mine exploded shells all over my kitchen floor and on inspection only to find its held together with cable ties. Total rip off.
  19. I'll take them mate will pm you.
  20. Could we have a vote off on the following please. RC sipe 32gm V black gold 32gm People thoughts please
  21. Hi all, I do understand people's thoughts on exlayers however it may be the shoot I'm involved in only option this year, we would be releasing into pens, pens are around an acre in size, there are slot of woods on the land some big some with water etc. We have slot of feeders on the land and I do mean alot. We also have about 16acres of cover spread around. Due to some of the crops being veg the fields are left as stubbles over the season and we are allowed to sew mustard etc we normally have 10-15acres of this. We do have guys who dog in for us on a regular basis. What's people's thoughts on the above and exlayers shoot is 1700acres. We would be looking at a large number? Birds pref be an old farmyard ringneck. Cheers guys
  22. Iv been using a real tree 10kg bucket from Nash tackle fraction of the price they also do a nice bucket cushion in green again peanuts compared to the shooting ones, I'd say the spinning seat doesn't really come into play that much. Have a look.
