  2. Hi Has anyone been shooting here lately ? I struggling to spot a single bird.
  3. Served in the forces, specialized in weapons, we used to tape a durex over barrels, in most calibers..... in Belize (water) Norway(snow) and Iraq (sand), No problems encountered, and no illigitimate pregnancies!!!! (that I know)!!
  4. At least, if nothing else.... its one less mobility scooter on the road !
  5. Me to, The only shot I had was one of port, six hours & not a sausage...still...... beats work !!
  6. Jackite (not Jack Pike) do a pigeon type bird, just ordered one to see if its any good as a decoy, cant be too different from my Hyperflappers, which on a good day are really effective......most of the days they keep them away though!!!
  7. Yep I`ve done this for my last seven or eight trips out..............very fustrating.....still,on the bright side.....cheap !!
  8. yep , you`re right.......I will start questioning the use/misuse of caps lock....that would be useful!...... BTW if you "try" as you put it, you will set yourself up to fail, it`s always better to do your best, with no guarantees. Just thought that may be useful......or smart.
  9. Sorry to be a pain, but you appear to be somewhat grammatically incorrect in your context. You are missing a full stop after "thick" and a comma after "bothered"! Sorry to be a pain old bean in pointing this out, but when one lives by the sword, one must die by the sword! Inappropriate punctuation and ill-elucidated context, can make one appear a little "thick"!! No offence intended! Matt.
  10. I Got mine from a local builders merchants (kings Langley building supplies) They are purpose built and very tough, I will look to see if I can see a name stamped on then later Regards Matt
  11. I use a large black plaster`s bucket, they are about 2.5 feet tall, they cost £7, they stack, you can carry stuff in them, they are really strong, tall, have a handle,I then got a kneel pad from screw fix and cut a circular disc same diameter as the base to sit on and this sits inside the bucket when not being used, best seat I`ve used in 25 years shooting ( I have tried them all), light, strong, cheap, and fit for purpose. doesn`t need to be camo, as birds only see in light to dark spectrum.
