  2. I own the same gun.... I bought it about 2 yrs ago and it has serverd me well. Never had any problems, the best shotgun that i have ever used. At that price it is a Bargin!!
  3. Nice to here the full story to accompany the pic.s LordAJ
  4. No RB... i was not threatened by the youths, but if somebody who was not involved with shooting had seen them i am sure that they would have felt intimidated. As for your other posts on this topic it is clear that you have no concept about shooting in the public eye, or for acting responsably with a gun!! I cannot belive that you would even bother to argue on the opposite side to this disscusion! LordAJ
  5. Lol... i knew that would make an apperance Gibby. But i do have to say that it was a right handed rifle and i do shoot left handed! But a night to remember lads. LordAJ

    the wurzzels

Yes i have herd of the wurzels! They were playing at my workplace a few weeks ago.. they attracted quite a crowd! I can only hope that i can be like them when im 60 years old!! GLOUCESTERSHIRE LA LA LA!!! LordAJ
  7. Whilst drivin home late last night i noticed a car driving around the trading estate with youngs lads hanging out of the window with wat looked like a sawn off airrifle. The stock had been cut down leaving a pistol grip, and the barrel had been cut down aswell. This must be an illegal conversion of an air weapon and i was disguted to see them trying to shoot live quarry. i.e rabbits which over run the trading estate. They do need to be controlled, but not by young lads with inappropriate weapons. Behaviour such as this, gives shooting a bad name. LordAJ

    rats

I read in an Airgunworld magazine that leaving a spring air rifle cocked for a long period of time doesnt harm the spring at all, but can have the opposite effect! Thats what it said! Anyway i leave my BSA lightning cocked for long periods of time when out shooting, say 5 hours or so on occasions. I wouldnt worry to much about it, but just focus on your shooting. Regards LordAJ
  9. Good work gibb, ready to boost the number of fox kills this sat./
  10. nice work gibby, i have inside info lads that a pic of a fox will soon be appearing!
  11. Thats LordAJ to you chez and dont u forget it!
  12. Year nice bit of kit indeed gibby, looks like a mean rabbiting machine! LordAJ
  13. I have shot many magpies by just putting down some bread on my back lawn, and camping in an upstairs window with my .22 airrifle. Make sure that you place whole slices of bread out, as magpies will just take off with smaller peices. Then it is just a waiting game, and a matter of just putting a well placed pellet into the birds head and bingo game over. Give it a shot. LordAJ
