I have 3 air rifels. 2 need a little work can any1 help. Smk th78d.. This takes 2 12g co2 tanks. it being a smk it's a bit ruff around the edges... Changing the seals? What would it bring to the gun? also is it posable to up the power to full power at home? BSA Lighting Xl... Witch sounds a tad thuddy. I think it needs a new main spring.... Is this possible to do at home.. Also can any 1 recommend a spring ? The 3rd is a umarex perfecta 55 22 ... The cheapest one out the three but .. By far the best (at the mo!) and my favourite Cheers

If your worried go get the d/b your self. walk in to any wholesales and ask for a 17th edition board ( take note of the breaker sizes you have at home + sum extras) it might cost u more but at least u know your getting the proper gear!! With the d/b your house all ready has with the change your bound to find problems with earthing. The price is defo going to go up.. Also the age and condition of your appliances could trip out the new d/b ( rcd ). As a temp fix if u go to wicks they sell new age replacements for the old style fuses .. They have a push button that will trip and can be reset.. Hope this helps

If your ready to shoot a rabbit, then you should have 100% belief that your Rifle and ability will place the bullet for a humane death. Onces the trigger is pulled there's no taking it back Head shot for me..

Trapping for tree rats... If u trap a red u can easily let it go ... Looking through a sight much easier, quicker and humane

I find the th78d really nice to hold.. The thumb hole makes it quick to move and sturdy. £50 is not to much to see if I can up the power and the people that have upped them ceem really happy. If not then a lession learnt.

What pellets do u find best in the th78d. For hunting ?? I wish they did tins with a mix of different styles and makes of pellets. Just to make finding one your happy with eayser.

There's ment to b 2! The first hole about 2mm below the top of the thread. The second about 10mm down from the top !! My replacement gun has both my first gun only the top 1.

Just a warning. I had to take my th78d bk a gasket went also a vent hole in the thread was missing !! Allmost lost an eye!! The shop swapped the gun straight away. Losing belief in smk a little also the power is poor.

I love the look and the feel of the gun it's a shame the power let's it down. At the moment iv got shots dropping at 20 yards or so .. Onces I mod it I hope I will b happy ... A warm day in the uk about as common as a veggie on pigeon watch.. ( I dnt know the %'s I just think it might b rare)

I picked up a th78d the other day . I know alot of gunners dnt like smk but the gun shoots straight, nice to hold and looks gd.. They sell then as "full power" but I'm only gettin around 8ftlb using air arms diabolo field .. Iv ceen lots of people saying how easy it is to upgrade to full power .. But no 1 telling me how .. I could do with a bit of help pigeonwatch...... Springer for the winter & co2 for a summer fling. Scott
