  1. This makes an interesting read; http://www.policeoracle.com/news/Police+Staff/2013/Apr/15/Firearms-Licensing-Change-Confirmed_63418.html
  2. I commenced legal action against Alienware just after they were bought out by Dell..... They backed down the day the papers were served & before it went to court.... From those 2 sentences you can get my feelings on their products.
  3. We use a drop & literally a drop of fairy liquid in ours & it works a treat.
  4. Good luck with your eBay purchase. Not new by the way, Grade B used & look at the feedback of the seller before you decide. This also has lifetime free map updates worth £79.99, which I believe the Grade B one doesn't. This is less than 36 hours old... Thanks for your input.
  5. I did suggest that as I saw them in Halfords. But, she has one of those bloody big flowers on the dash! Needless to say, I think I should have spoken to her before hand...
  6. I should add that there is a Free Life Time Maps Update available for this which hasn't been activated yet. You need the Halfords Receipt to take the offer up. You have to go to the TOMTOM website and Lifetime Map Offer to get this.
  7. I bought the above yesterday for my wife, she hates it! It cost me £159 from Halfords and I thought I could return it under their 28 day returns policy. Apparently it is not covered as it is software/hardware licenced. So I am putting it on here first of all before I stick it on eBay. You can google or go to the tomtom website for full details on the unit itself. It is covered by a 12 month warranty and also the live services (traffic, speed cameras, etc are free for 12 months). To clarify why the wife hates it, she has a VW Beetle and her windscreen is miles away, so she says its a "hassle & doesn't need one".... So the price is £135 including delivery and payment is via paypal... No additional costs, just £135 no offers please. Receipt from Halfords will be included for warranty purposes. It will go on eBay on Monday 8th if no one wants it... PM me if you do, thanks.... 8. Yep, I've got these and they are fine for what I use them for. Wouldn't have a problem recommending them.
  9. Ahhhhhh, thank you... I'll pay more attention in future :-)
  10. Anyone worked out why they've all forgotten how to use steam power? Why have they reverted to muskets? As mentioned above, far to many holes in it for me.

    phones 4u

Wife was on Orange & we spoke to Phones 4U at renewal time, there deal surpassed anything offered by anyone else. Still get Orange invoice, no change in anything all very easy & a faultless upgrade.
  12. I've got the VRs TDI, its my second one & love it. In 73k miles its had one fault on the turbo actuator, that took a while to sort. It averages 44mpg combined with upto 58mpg on long motorway runs. I do a set of front tyres between 17k & 22k depending but all motorway miles on mine. It's been fine in snow & I'd not hesitate to get another, in fact new one comes out in July so we will looking at it. I have the DSG gearbox, which isn't great as it can be a bit to conservative unless running in sport mode. When in this mode or operated via flappy paddles it goes like a bullet...
  13. That's not good at all... Hope you had a good day shooting though as seen shed loads of pigeons round fields at side of mad mile in Ossett recently.... I should point out its not me he's talking about never been out with Les, although I am an Ossett resident & have been asking for shooting help!!!! Come on Name & Shame...
  14. Got both in our house.. Wife swears her Galaxy is the best, I say my iphone 5 is.. Got to admit though, her Galaxy is a very nice phone. Larger & clearer, but is still have my iPhone over it. The general view in gadget mags is that Samsung currently have the best phone by some distance, also the new Google Nexus is worth a look.
  15. I'll 2nd that... Watched him hole by hole at British open a few years ago, he had such an aura and presence. Big guy and just seemed to be so far ahead of everyone else at that time, a day I won't ever forget.
  16. Like the pic of Jess & your obviously fresh out of the freezer pigeon... Looked a decent day out.. You got no snow??? Still got a foot if it in my garden!
  17. Always nodded when riding my beemers, few nodded back though.. Go steady and as they say; Never Ride Faster Than Your Guardian Angel!
