do any of you have any ideas i need a problem which i can solve by designing a product. its for my a level design and technology major coursework. i was thinking of something to do with shooting or farming or fishing? or anything really. cheers

apart from mine. theres a lot of pigs about now though....flying around across the fields! looks promising for the next few weeks!

YEP

started off on my farm on some setaside which was under a flightline....bagged two crows and 13 pigeons in about 2 hours. was fun! then packed up because it all dried up at about 1 o clock. went to my friends farm and went out with him on the peas! lots about...would have had a cracking day had i not forgotn the battery for th magnet! but we tried it anyway.....ended up with about 20 pigeons. had a walk about after in th evening. had a rabbit and a hare and lots of rats about but theyr too quick!

50 - 60 yards is the top end of th range. maybe theyr just too high up try cartridges with less shot in them (28grams), theyr faster and harder hitting

round here they are hitting th peas now and also the freshly dirlled game cover. im going out tomorrow hopefully! i hope its worth the effort. also they seem to be on setaside quite a lot.

theres a lot around now! they seem to have appeared in th last couple of days! looking good! XXXXX

cheers il have a look its just mine run down in a few hours. but i think one is a bit dud. one runs for 4-5 hours. the other about 2 but theyr th same!

mine always run out after about 4-5 hours. what kind of battery will make the magnet run allday? whats th biggest you can get? etc. thanks

ya know the theory that if its a certain pressure in th atmosphere pigeons feed and decoy better. its something like this: if it rains a bit or goes very cloudy...the pigeons think that there is going to be a storm/long rain so they go out and feed frantically and harshly on as much as posible to stock up so they can last the 'storm' when it arrives.? what do you think?

haha yer i would do that only my dog gets a tad overexcited and ignores all my commands and goes and picks up the deeks or the dead birds! flippin thing!
