  1. I know what you mean. When I was looking for one I couldnt find a leftie and ended up paying top dollar for a brand new one which has only been out 4 times since new. Now there seems to be a lot of leftie stuff about. There is a right handed Beretta further up the list
  2. On offer here is my Benelli M1 Super 90 2+1 semi auto in Advantage timber camo. 24" barrel ideal for hide shooting It is a true left hander with the action on the left and shims to alter to the cast on the stock. It is in extremely good condition and comes in its original case with everything it came with from new. Oil, chokes, choke key instruction manual etc etc . Very little use from new hence my selling it. Since having kids Ive had very little time to shoot, so one of guns has to go. Price reduced to £650 ono for quick sale I can meet or delivery across most of Scotland and the North of England for a small fee, or will post to an RFD if you pay the costs. SGC holders only please !
  3. Hi Folks... Im looking for some realtree mesh. I dont want any leaves or anything on it, just the mesh. I want to modify my doghouse hide by removing the 3 large zip down windows and replace them with mesh for better all round vision. I cant seem to find any anywhere. Anyone point me in the right direction please ? Cheers Steve
  4. I use a speed controller on mine but then I also bought a small remote control on/off switch which I connect to the magnet. The controller is like the ones you get with a car alarm so it fits in your pocket no worries. I just flick it on and off when the action is required. If I stop for my lunch or during quiet times I switch it off to conserve energy. ( Photo's on request )
  5. No i don't. I was worried about this when it first came about but my game dealer doesn't have a problem with it. My mate and I also take in around 500 rabbits per year, again with no problem. What are you getting for a pigeon and rabbit at the moment ?
  6. The reg plate is rather apt for the shooting fraternity. MYX
  7. Thanks Guys..... Useful info for future reference. Ive actually got my **** into gear and done them. It was just the getting started really. Normally I do them outside but it had gone dark so I sweet-talked the missus and did them in the kitchen. That'll be another enjoyment voucher used up !
  8. Ive just got back in fater a couple of hours over the decoys and ive got a dozen or so pigeons I want to breast. Thing is, ive got a bitch of a day at work tomorrow and I really cant be ***** doing them now. Whats the longest ( or shortest ) time you have left your pigeons before breasting them ?
  9. Im on the hunt for a new shotgun and im punting around on the net seeing who has what, at what price. where do you guys buy from ? do you know of any gunshops who have an online list of available stock ? Who would you recommend ? Etc etc Why not build a list of links or just supply them here.
  10. OK...im in the market for a semi auto in camo. Now I use a Beretta 682 for claybusting but fancy a semi auto in camo for rough and pigeon shooting, I would get a Beretta semi in a flash but they dont do a left hander. My left handed choices seem to limited to Benelli or Fabarm but i know nowt about either manufacturer so I am looking for some opinions / experiences from some of you guys who may own one or the other and have a story to tell. The fabarm seems to be the cheaper of the 2 but is that a good thing ? Thanks in advance for any help.
  11. Dont suppose its a lefthander by any chance is it ?
  12. The Missus and I had pan fried woody breast last night with mashed spud, cabbage, carrots and a lovely home made red wine sauce. Very nice. The pigeon was maybe a tad under cooked for my liking as it was still bloody in the centre. How well do you guys cook your pigeon ? Rare, medium or cooked right through. ?
  13. Would be the natural swing through for a right handed shooter. Personally, I shoot lefthanded so taking the righthand bird first then swinging back for the left feels un-natural but not beyond the realms of possibilty. Nice shooting anyway
  14. Im looking to buy a semi auto as ive started doing more and more pigeon shooting. Now my obvious choice would be a Beretta but they dont do a left hander. So...has anyone got a leftie or seen one for sale anywhere ? Just to add to the challenge, I'd like it to be camo'd. No pressure there then.
  15. Badsworth..Yes it does fold. The barrel folds right back and touches the trigger guard. Ferreter....Cheers for the deal. Im sure the 12g will suit you much better for what you are needing it for. Good to see you again. Cheers Steve
  16. Originally from sunny Stoke on Trent myself. Moved up here in 98. Gotta be honest I dont miss the traffic etc down there. I used to travel for work covering an area from North Wales down to Hereford. Cannock, Stafford Wolvo, Brum etc . Its just a different way of life up here but getting busier all the time so its only a matter of time before we catch up I suppose.
  17. Cheers Rapid. No worries. Where are you by the way ?
  18. Forgot to mention, it comes in a gun slip with a .410 pull through cleaner and whatever cartidges I have left for it which is a couple of boxs i think.
  19. piccies available on request. just pm me your email address
  20. My .410 Hushpower has sat in my cabinet totally neglected for over 12 months now so Im thinking it should possibly go to someone who would use it. Its in very good working order, has a few scratches on the painted barrel but the stock isnt too bad at all. Spose it would be worth about £150. Im in central Scotland but wouldnt mind travelling to meet someone if interested.
  21. What hygiene course is that ? Are you referring to the Basic Food Hygiene certificate ? If so than why not just sit the course at your local council. It would cost about £30 and that gets you a certificate which is renewable every 3 years. I could almost supply you with the answers to all the questions, infact, I could probably supply the course material too, then you could just pop along to sit the exam. Ive got my "Advanced food hygiene cert" paid for by my employer.
  22. Oops...sorry for the lack of detail. Its a 12 bore and thats as much as I know without digging it out from the cabinet. Not sure of choke but its definately fixed. Age...? cartridges fired...? condition...not too bad. Probably not bother with Mallochs but may cnsider Hendry, Ramsey and Waters if I was desperate which I aint. I'd rather give it away for some amount less than its worth to a fellow forum member
