    Tanks

You want to get your money back. That was not a tank. Looked like an APC with a mock turet welded ontop. Still fun mind you. Justme
  3. Hi All, I am looking for a airgun suitable for teaching youngsters how to shoot & gun safety. I know you are prob going to say .177 would be better but as I have a .22 it will mean that I dont have to have two sizes or any danger of the wrong ones geting used. I am open to all offers (springer co2 PCP not that one will be in my budget). Extras not needed but a scope would be a bonus. Will need to be able to post as I live miles from anyone. Please post or PM any offers. Thanks Justme PS oh forgot to add I am looking for a air cylinder & filling kit for a pcp but must have long test & dont want carbon fiber tanks.

    Quad biking

Went out on mine today to collect fire wood from my woods which are a bit wet. All I could think of was "hope the quad bike dint see that video"... On the second trip I got bloody stuck with a full load on the front & rear racks But not in a boggy bit I managed to get caught up on an old rotted stump that wedged under the frame. Justme
  5. Thanks for that. I did actualy read that whilst it was "live" but could not remember the title & the search dint come up with it. Justme
  6. Hi All, Need help choosing a suitable airgun for young children to learn on. If possible but I doubt it I would like it to be suitable for 7-14 years old. The 14 year old can just about shoot mine (webley Raider II) but struggles with the weight in all but fully supported positions. I know opinion is devided but will want it to be .22 so I can have one supply of pellets (no accidents). It will NOT be used for hunting it is just to learn how to shoot safely. If they then later want to hunt a more suitable airgun can be sourced. Justme
  7. Hi, Moved the thin plate to the end nearest the barrel & then put the two cups in open end first followed by the o ring & end cap & hey presto no more rattle. Sound seems the same at the gun but at least the rattle will stop & hopefully improve groupings. Thanks for the help. Justme
  8. Hi, Thanks for that. Not enough room for third pot so not that but there is no spring washer / plate so might be that. Dont have a local gun shop, only local place that sells airgun stuff is a bike shop so they dont do technical. Will try putting the plat in first. HAve tried pots both ways but seem to make no diff but then at the gun it dont sound much louader withoutn it at all. justme
  9. Thats me out then to far to collect. Justme
  10. Would you post it? I guess you will have to empty it (slowlt over night I am told to stopp it stressing the steel). If so how much for it & kit inc del? Justme
  11. Hi, I have a webley raider II. It has a fitted moderator. Trouble is it rattles very slightly. Have striped it down to see if I can spot whats wrong but I cant. It is basicaly a tube screwed to the barrel with two pots with holes in & one plate with a hole in with a o ring then a closing plate with a hole. Should the pots be fitted open end in first or closed end in first/ Cant hear any difference at the gun end & as the pots will be closed off by the other pot or plate does it matter which way they go? Can any one spot the make from this description? What would be a better one that will fit straight on to the screw thread on the barrel/ Justme PS how do you post pics on this forum? Other forums I use allow direct uploading to the forum & others need you to host it on your own site (or photo bucket etc) first.
  12. Should be able to do the full 12 ftlb & more. PCP,s do like heavier pellets. It is easily adjustable if you know what you are doing just remember that if tested they will possibly use heavy pellets so dont get it t close to the limit or it will be over with the heavier pellets. Have set mine so that its around the 11 ftlb mark so wont be over even with heavies. As part of that set up I found that the higest it would go with 16.9 grains was just over 14 ftlb. I would expect that acuracy & shots per fill would be pants at that setting. Justme
  13. sorry, don't you mean tap it to the left, to make the point of impact move left? Nope move the FORE sight to the left & the POI moves to the right. Move the REAR sight to the left & the POI moves to the left. Justme
  14. On a springer (which his would be if he is older) then yes any oir / grease / hydrocarbons will increase power as they will combust (dieseling). BUT mostly it will trash the acuracy & also take you posibly over the legal power limit. Plus you could be doing damage to the gun itself. Funnily I dont think PCPs make oil diesel (combust on compresion & heat) in the same way. Justme
