  1. If you can get permission to do that F4i can provide all the kit required, we have lots of steel & plenty of ideas for a fun side shoot, also more than happy to travel anywhere in the country to support this but we have a busy calendar for this year with 20 matches so the date would have to be right. Great idea !
  2. How about a texas star knockout ? I have two texas stars & just to make it fair we could all start empty or with only 3 in the gun, fastest time wins or set them up side by side & do a man V man match. N
  3. Kev Have no fear there are several events over the next few weeks where the guys will be in action with their pump guns, ill add a few pics as & when I can, there is a club match at Worcester Norton tomorrow & the weather is forecast to be good. On the 21st of April I will be at Romsey for round 2 of the four4island series & I expect Mr ChAoS from this thread will also be there, the following weekend we will be in Germany for the Bayern Cup, an International match where four4islands has sponsored a stage, there will surely be some exotic shotguns on show & there will also be no shortage of quality pump guns in action to photo & post here. The weekend after that is 4th-5th May which is round 3 in the series near Horsham so plenty coming up to keep the thread afloat N
  4. We have moving targets too, I just think he's making excuses
  5. Your welcome to join us anytime mate we know you want to give it a go really. N
  6. OK got a couple of video's to load.
  7. Hi Sco77w There is a short thread in F4i forum, the ones in the pics are made by Taccom from the USA but there is also another company in europe making them called Ghost International & they are slightly cheaper, once I get the video's to load you will see that you can do the shoot 1, load 8 & shoot 1 drill in a fraction over 5 seconds which isn't bad considering we only got them a couple of weeks ago. http://four4islands.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=927 http://www.taccom3g.com/QUALOAD_SHELL_HOLDERS.html http://www.ghostinternational.com/index.php?lang=en
  8. Its been a nice day today so me & my mate headed to the club for some pumping practice with some new belt kit. we were trying out a new loading technique called quad loading, which entails drawing & loading four cartridges all at once, I also took some video that Im trying to upload to youtube for you guys to take a look at a bit later, meantime here are a few pics from this afternoon.
  9. Rossendale Fusiliers has 100m, 200m plus some PSG bays but you will need a 4x4 to reach their quarry range area. N
  10. Standard manual ? Enough of that politically correct fagot talk four4islands call it buy its proper name........ its called Pump Division N
  11. Yes on several occasions, they are very easy to deal with & have always delivered quickly. N
  12. http://www.nightgear.co.uk/511-Pants-511-Tactical-TDU-Ripstop-Pant-REGULAR-LEG-TDU-Khaki/18866ngp.htm
  13. Very hard wearing & reinforced in all the right places. I prefer the TDU pants in ripstop, they come with removable built in knee pads, also the back up belt system inside the leg pockets holds spare magazines nicely. N
  14. Hi Guys All the guns pictured have 24" barrels, as you are aware thats the shortest we can have in the UK, but if we were allowed we would run a shorter tube than that, many of our shooting buddies in europe use 20" & 18" guns as they allow for faster handling on some of the stages. As for the tyres sometimes the odd pellet will bounce around & that is why eye protection is mandatory for all shooters & also for the spectators at all matches. here are a couple more pics... N
  15. The 2013 four4islands shotgun series started last weekend at Shield Shooting Centre, here are a few photo's of the guys who are shooting in the Pump Division with Benelli Supernovas. Young Ben at his first big match away from home. Jon & Ben loading on the move.. Me about to shoot the porthole stage. N
  16. Mods as there is no target shooting section within the "other types of shooting" section of the forum I have posted this here, please feel free to move it to a more suitable section if one exists, thanks. For the rest of you guys who are interested in Practical Shotgun then the four4islands 2013 match series may be of interest to you. This year the series has expanded to include ten matches at our supporting clubs around the south of the country including the National Shooting Centre at Bisley & also at Rossendale north of Manchester. If you wish to take part please get in touch or visit the four4islands website for more details, the first match is on March 9th & 10th at Shield Shooting Centre in Dorset. http://four4islands.org
  17. Would be easy to do at Shield Shooting Centre in Dorset. I will be down there in a couple of weeks time for a competition. ill bounce the idea off Steve the owner & see what he says. N
  18. Thats not a bad Idea, how about a few clays followed by a few steel plates & a texas star man v man knockout
  19. Certainly. You get the authority to posses a S1 gun before doing the conversion, once you have that in place, you then convert the gun & write a letter to your firearms department telling them what you have done, you fill in the section of your FAC that relates to the gun you have "acquired" & send in both your shotgun cert & FAC for amendment along with the covering letter. Simple. N
  20. Ash Yes the conversion from S2 to S1 is easy on a Supernova, but you will need to replace the mag tube which screws in place. You can do this yourself once you have the authority to posses a S1 shotgun. If you want to try the sport get in touch with the four4islands organisation. N
  21. Barrels are different, but Mossberg make 870 Barrels as an accessory as well as ones for their own guns.
  22. Mossberg make a 24" barrel for the Remington 870. http://www.midwayuk.com/Mossberg-Barrel-Remington-870-Special-Purpose-12-Gauge-3-24-Cylinder-Bore-with-Rifle-Sights-Matte
  23. No worries, they have a texas star down there, they tend to sort the men from the boys N
  24. Take it to the Phoenix PSG club ground nr Horsham & give some steel plates a bash. Say hi to Ron for me n
  25. Hi Mark Those are very nice, you don't see many Ithaca's on the circuit these days, are they on FAC or S2 ? As your down Romsey way do you ever get to the four4islands PSG matches at Misholt ? If so I would like to see those up close sometime. Thanks for posting. N
