The bit thats worrying me is when he rung they said the application has gone for review - could be it's part of the normal pocess but I think they could have said something a little more meaningful.

They are in St Asaph part of the HQ building on the Business Park

I must admit when they were in Prestatyn the lady there was much more helpful.

Hello Folks, My step sone has just applied for his SGC and his FEO visit was about a month ago and all seemed to go well, he has just rung the local constabulary firearm deparment and asked how the apllication is going and has been told the 'application gone for review'. Is this a normal stage in events or should I warm him to be dissappoined ? Thanks Pat

When I applied for my SGC in North Wales it took 7 weeks

Not as good as we normally do but then again all score were down on their norm - I blame the bitter cold weather

Went to Flint CTC this morning don't know about wellies but thermals would not go a miss

Hello Chaps, When I was serving in HM Navy many many years ago, we had a delicacy served for breakfast which was kidney in a rich thick very brown gravy on toast. This was given the nick name in the service of **** on A Raft and it was very much of an aquired taste, but those that liked it loved it and more sailors liked it than not and it was a wonderful cure for a hangover or seasickness. I have tried to cook this for myself but it never seem to come outright and taste as good as it did. Has anyone got a recipe for this I would be very grateful.
