Did you need to use a speed controller for the Crows Karpman?

Whew!! I live to tell another day!! that's reassuring I dont have a problem giving good or bad feedback. i just happen to think the ff4 is the best flapper on the market..but it's only my opinion, others have thier faves aas well no doubt!

I'll risk it!!! I've got an FF4 Multibird flapper and it's ****n brill.. it's looks the dogs doo das,so well built and nice colour i can drop off the ground spike. (which by the way has a nice built in footplate for hard ground), and It fits onto my bouncer,which will be cool when the crops are high. I can use my sillsocks hypaflaps or fit the dead bird cradle and use real birds. I'm going to get a speed controller for it, as i put a crow on it and it was way to fast, so that will sort it out, so I guess that's goodbye then!! lol

I've bought you proflap, and the machine that makes it flap..it's ingenius! so simple yet it works a treat, do you make any for other decoys? Andy

Sorry, I meant should I use it on the bouncer, or keep it on the ground until the crop has grown?

Ditto to that..I bought 3 belly plates, that you fix to the full bodied foam wing decoy, so I can use them on my flapper, I ordered yesterday lunchtime, and they turned up today. Brilliant!!

Well it's not an ff4! i absoloutely love the design and the way mine looks, so much so, that I'd hate to get it dirty! but top marks for trying.

I have to agree, i like being able to use a real bird and a decoy to get me started, the missus wont have dead pigeons in the freezer, so i can use my hypaflap to get the ball rolling!

I've just purchased a ff4 flapper, which I can use on my bouncer if i take the leg off, can I use it on a bouncer over my decoys now... (on drillings/short shoots etc). or should I wait till the crops have grown, to get best results. cheers guys!

I eventually bought the ff4,flapper. and I have to say, it's fantastic, I can remove the ground spike, and put it on my bouncer, with a real pigeon, it looked brilliant and did a great job, the wind made it bob up and down so it looked just like a bird coming into my pattern. will be getting another next pay day.

Getting back into Pigeon shooting after a long layoff, what's the latest gear thats any good, i need decoys, and probably thinking of getting a flapper or two, any recoomendations? Cheers Foxy

thanks for ideas guys. security not issue i have a very secure lock up, 3 gates to get in plus steel doors and alarms. hope to find one soon my permissions have grown alot recently looking to be able to do more in one night. cheers
