  8. I have just impulse bought an air rifle (BSA Meteor Mk6 .22) for not a great deal of money and after doing some reading up am wondering if it is going to be suitable for the sort of shooting i want to do with it (I am an air rifle novice). It will mainly be used for plinking and light target practice but would like to be able to use it for the occassional rabbit shoot when i get good enough. I have just noticed though that a local gun shop is selling a new Hatsan 85X for not a lot more money and am wondering if it is worthwhile me swapping in for something like this before getting too used to the BSA. The gun will also be used equally by my other half so we do not want anything too heavy. What do you recommend? Should i just be happy with the BSA and get shooting or have i made a big mistake with my gun choice? Budget is low as tbh shotguns are my real vice but wanted to get into air rifles as well on the side and am really looking for something cheap and reliable. Hopefully I have done ok
  9. Would love to come for my first shoot but unfortunately am **** (still learning :( ) and have to see the mother in law Sunday

  12. Hello everyone I have just started clay pigeon shooting (taking lessons at Sporting Targets at Riseley) and would really like to start learning pigeon shooting. I have my shotgun certificate and am still on my look out for my first gun (going to a few shops tomorrow). Is there anyone in the Bedfordshire area that would be willing to show me how to start with pigeons as i am a total novice. I don't mind supplying lunch Thanks in advance for any help or advice, Lewis
