  1. What i'm curious about is having a benelli bolt copied and CNC replicated by a local machine shop. If someone took interest and wanted to buy one of me, how could i just get that single part proofed. I take care of my guns so i'll never break one unless it breaks itself.
  2. What if it was say an after market bolt that is designed to just drop into an already proofed gun? Would it have to be propfed in the already proofed gun?
  3. If i just needed a bolt to be proofed, how would that work?
  4. On semi auto and pump shotguns. Apart from the barrel, what else has to be proofed? I've heard that any pressure bearing part has to be marked, what, by law is a pressure bearing part?
  5. Only advise i can offer is do not cold blue it!
  6. Good luck with the sale, had my 1187 up three times and got know where!
  7. taking to crimp out of the mag tube and then having it taken off the shotgun cert and put on your FAC
  8. I believe it was a hushpower supressor. If their was such a demand i may just set my own supressor business lol. I think it'd be pretty easy to set any semi auto to run reliably with a suppressor
  9. This just came across my desk.... http://www.silencerco.com/salvo
  10. Saw a supressed benelli m2 on gun trader a while ago going for £750. If you want a semi to cycle sub sonics just get an under powered action spring
  11. always thought statistics proved per population we do have more problems that the US when it came to violent crime
  12. Importation only effects assembled guns. They still have US companies making AK's and they can still import parts kits and assemble them at home. And as said above atleast they still have their guns guarunteed by the 2nd amendment. Unlike here where everyone seems to believe banning everything is the answer to all the countries problems
  13. What magazine tube extensions do you and people you know use? What do you like and dislike about them? Did you have to rely on importing one from the US? Just curious as to what people think. I have a nordic +7 on my versa max and think there quite over priced for what they are. Cost me $75 plus tax
  14. I use break free CLP on my versa max. Used Hoppes gun oil and Fireclean as well. The versa max is really reliable so don't oil it very often
  15. Used top 1's for a while. Pretty clean recoil is okay, prices went up so i moved to comp x and prefer them. Recoil a bit less and are just as clean if not cleaner.
  16. Sometimes it would be bad. Sometimes it'd be once every few shots. I think it's just where the lifter was straight and lifting the shell too high. After reading through all the US 3 gun forums they all pretty much said the welded lifter has to be bent downwards slightly to stop the shell going too high. I'll get round to it at some point and see if it makes any difference as having the welding done really is a lot more comfortable
  17. I noticed that as well jeff no longer can ship to the UK. I'd make sure TTI can or will as well. Considered one of those lifter for my versa max but was put of by the price and the current welded lifter i had did nothing but jam so i'm back to square one with a factory thumb catcher!
  18. Where'd you get the lifter? It's about a 5 minute job
  19. It is yep, but it fits and functions on the 1187/1100. It has a 25 inch barrel as well
  20. This is my gun. 3rd attempt at trying to sell! Don't know what the problem is?!
  21. much better! holding my 1187 then holding my versa max their's no comparison. versa max is lighter by far, has a smoother action and recoils less. only upside to my 1187 is it's 25 inch barrel. versa max you're stuck with 28 inches unless you get it chopped and cut by Teague.
  22. Probably won't be available for a while if not ever. The gun's been out a few years now and still the only model you can get is the standard 28 inch synthetic. Not even any options for barrel length or camo. The wood version and left handed models are only just new to the US so i don't think they'll be in any rush to get them over here. I couldn't even get parks ordered through SMK, had to wait till i was in the US and order direct from remington factory!
  23. Doesn't bother me how much i'd get for it now. Got it for £275 brand new and it still runs fine. seven years later, still shoots like new. Don't know why beretta owners are all so quick to slag the hatsan off?!
  24. Waiting for all the semi auto beretta owners to churp up how bad hatsans are. My 2nd gen hatsans recoils less than a benelli. Well over 10,000 rounds done and runs great!
