  1. When I did my first responder training I was told that 112 was different to 999 and you could get through with it just about anywhere anytime.
  2. Hi Glad you're enjoying your course Just to be pedantic birds of prey are kept in mews or weatherings not aviaries. What qualification do you come out with at the end of you're course? Good luck
  3. Not thought of that. I would still have a house too so could register it there.
  4. Ive always dreamed of living on a narrowboat or similar but wondered about securing a gun cabinet for my shotgun and how legal it would be. It's a few years off yet but wondered if anyone knew if it had been done before.
  5. Congratulations!! Have a great Christmas
  6. Hi. To be brutally honest if your hearts not in it don't do it! You can get away with "learning falconry" without a bird but do you really want to? I teach falconry at an agricultural college and would not recommend it if you're not 100% up for it. This may not be a popular answer but it's my honest opinion. I fly 25+ birds and haven't had a proper holiday for years the closest I get is a weekend away doing displays at gamefairs but I live for it ! Whatever you decide good luck and if you ever need any help just shout out.
  7. Hi be careful with amtico. F44 will not stick it properly and when you hear it up it expands as it warms then when it cools it contracts to a smaller size than original. I have been fitting amtico for over 28 years and done properly it's brilliant. Hope this helps. Ps where abouts are you ?

    Charities?

I give to a local kids charity in York call snappy. Also air ambulance. I'm a community first responder for Yorkshire ambulance service ( volunteer ) so help raise a bit for them too plus a few other local things
  9. The film world is something else. I have provided safety cover for stunt teams working over water. Loved every long minute. Plus the catering was brilliant lol
  10. How many people and whereabouts are u ? I own a bird of prey centre in York. Might be able to sort something for u.
  11. If the cylinder has been charged with gas continuously I doubt it would need shot blasting. This is only usually required if it has been left empty. I am a diving instructor and mixed gas blender so I have some idea what I'm talking about. But I do agree that it's not really worth the hassle even though it's possible. Also I have three cylinders that are used for carrying 100% oxygen for decompression stops while diving and these require no more regular testing than cylinders used for normal air.
  12. Browning hi power. Used one at 'work' for a few years. Loved it.
