ok so my normal patten will involve my furthest decoy at 35 yards, anything that flys over etc i will have a go at as its in range but sometimes i see a bird coming from a different angle and wonder how far out is that. What range are you comftable at shooting passing pigeons at?

Any restriction on cartridges at billys? Ive only ever been to high lodge.

i have 12 shells that i initially use, its not until i get that 1st bird on the flapper that things start to happen.

flapper. weights less and a lot less hassle carrying it unless of course you can drive to your hide location with the magnet.

I've not noticed any birds on the rape here, how about anyone else? wonder why this is?

just been having a drive round and not seen anything on the rape stubble, have to say this is unusual maybe they are feeding on the wheat and barley still.

i bought a covert 2 shooting hide, pretty simple to put up and take down in garden, I'm yet to take it in field.
