Having been to the clays this afternoon the maxus cycled some but not others 24g gamebore steel not had a problem with them last week came home started to clean the gun took of the barrel a bit of broken metal fell out of the were the action puzzled to were it may of come from gun smith time not going to use it till it's been looked at bit gutted only had it two weeks second hand

Just give it a full strip down yep there was tiny bits of like sand and grit cleaned that out with carb spray wiped it down going to have a few clays this afternoon see how it goes like you said most probley be the situations yesterday morning

Yesterday I was wildfowling in proper wildfowling weather rain sleet hale plus my son got stuck in the mud so I had bit of a nightmare for him but had to dig him out with my hands then I dropped 7 ,3.5 mags cartarges in the mud we were after the geese on the dee the geese turned up pulled the trigger first shot got 1 pink Second shot jam took a bit of time to clear the jam was using 3.5 mammoth game-bore so the maxus when I got home stripped down after i did notice a lot of water and damp in the receiver plus a bit of mud most probably of the carts I dropped even though I washed them and a little leaf from the marsh some how got in there thinking maxus is my first semi auto thinking weather it was the down to the mornings experience of mud weather or maxus it self but can not see it beening the maxus

Hi john thanks for your reply what I have done is I've put the date that I've sold it my address and my certificate number and my signature is this correct if ive sold the gun ? But I did notif the fire arms dept at the time

Ok confused.com with this sale of shot gun I will try and explain The question is I sold a two gun over the last two years and notified the firearms dept but on my licence section were you fill in what goes there is it the name and addresses and lincence number of the person I sold the gun to or is it my name stating I have sold the gun . I remember telling the fire arms dept can not find the data on the lap top or paper work don't fancy grilling of fair arms dept be for Christmas 😟

The mod I got is airarms I matched it on Blackpool air gun web site there is no thred on it push fit and tighten the grub screw

As Evo said above I loosened the barrel band and taken the mod off and it zeroed in pellet on Pellet at 25 m put the mod back on and yes back to out by half inch bellow . tomorrow going to try a different mod and pellet as I am using aa diabalo see if there a change as I find with aa pellets they tend to be a to littel soft easy damage thanks for the info helped me out saves a trip to the gunsmith and a lighter pocket .

I change the parallax It to what distance am shooting at and the magnification I keep to x8 when zeroing in .

Scope I have on it am the mo is mtc -scb 4-16x44 With 2 x mounts hight 45 mm I bought the scope and fitted new from tonys camo Chester saltney as of the mid I am not sure it came with the gun it's got no adapter push it on and tight up grub screw there. Is no name on it

I have the s410 out to look at it and seams there is a one hex bolt missing of the front mount to clamp to scope 😣 to have to the gun shop tomorrow for one . Thinking would this make a difference ?

The first scope I had on it was a hawke it was fine pellet on pellet then I bought the mamba lite then a few month after then it start to go of poa every few pellets then it was ok later on I was all over it's all over the place so it had a packing under the front mount which cured it now it back to square one I thinking may be the wrong mount to low ?

Thank of the info I will try the scope after work I know it had scope problems earlier on this year I took it to mcavoy guns snitch they said is no zeroing in so they put some packing under the front scope mount to raise it whitch helped but now back to back to square one I did take of the barrel clamp this morning to clean as there was a some amount of muck around the clamps d under it but it been clipping the mod of ages

S410 .22 aa pellets been having a nightmare with the s410 super light it has been clipping the mod so i have taken of the mod and tried with out it and the pellets going 12" to the right I tried to adjust the on the scope but it at it max tried two lots of aa field pellets thinking its Bad batch not to be and jsb as well still the same . I put the new mamba lite scope on it and it was pellet on pellet now it's drive me nuts . Any one know what's up with it ?
