  1. A friend of mine has a Daystate Air ranger in .177 with a MTC Viper sitting on the top of it. Very good gun, although i don't like the trigger as he's got it set like a mouse click.
  2. the deben ledray tactical 500 is pretty good i use it on rabbits on my .22 air rifle. bought for £139.99
  3. Brand new BSA R10 http://www.####/for-sale/bsa-r10-mk11-vc-air-rifle-979HLFN210213.php I've got this myself and its a truly remarkable gun
  4. 22LR will be better for closer ranges under 90 odd yards, and the bullet is much heavier. whereas the .17HMR will push out to 170yards but the bullet will be much effected in the wind.
  5. i tend to go clay pigeon shooting when i have the money as where i shoot they charge 28p per clay non member and 23p per clay member! but all in all i enjoy proper pigeon shooting can't beat a cold morning standing in the field! and a shed load of pigeon fly over you and then on the plus side your only paying for the shells you do shoot.
  6. I personally use Hull special pigeon 32g, 6's. which work a treat in my bettinsoli! give them a try in my local RFD they're £5.57/25.
  7. well done on gaining your permission!
  8. BSA Ultra would be a good choice, one of my friends owns one and I've shot it quite a few times. Very good for the money, i believe they do the single shot version and the Multi-shot.
